I meet Dr.Rao in 1994 after a work injury to my back. He had the most highest bedside manner. That I have ever experienced in a doctor. I was very impressed sitting in his waiting room office. Sat a full resume. Of all his schooling and practices. We he went over my MRI. He explained it fully. He told me he could do a l4 l5 fusion. But before I make a decision about having this major surgery. I needed to take a minute to make such a big decision. I felt very confident in him. So I chose to have the surgery. So in March of 1994 he did the major surgery. I’m here to say he did an incredible job. I was told by Dr. Rai that there would be also possibly chances. Of having continued orthopedic care. that having more stress on the disc above and below that he would have to continue the fusion.Well here I am almost 30 years later. And have not had any troubles whatsoever. I’m am so grateful to Dr. RAO. Thank you so much for giving me a great life.

Dr. Santi Rao helped me when I needed it most! I have a recurring bulging disc and sciatica although I have gone 10 years without a flareup. In my first visit with the Doctor, I was in excruciating pain and could not function and needed immediate treatment. To make matters worse, I was started a new job 5 days later and had to make my first day. I was already considering postponing my start date.However, Dr. Rao listened to my history, my immediate needs, and my need to start the new job. Dr. Rao was quick with a plan to treat my immediate pain, get me to work, and long term plan. He listened to my needs and delivered!From the initial appointment, his office staff (Natalia), the surgery center and epidural cortisone shot, to the follow-up with a long term plan, I could not be happier with the level of service, professionalism, and personal connection! I rate the experience a 10/10. Although I hope to never experience this pain again (but I know I will), when I do I will be going straight to Dr. Rao's office!

Dr. Rao is an experienced professional with an amazing personality that puts you at ease and makes you feel listened to. He explains the issue and provides all of the options available. He helped my 89 year old mother through a painful and scary L1 compression fracture, ultimately performing a completely successful vertebroplasty.

I have seen over 5 different doctors for my car accident back injury. Dr. Rao was the first doctor to clearly and precisely explain my injury to me. He was also the first doctor to validate my pain and actually treat it! I am so grateful to have him as my doctor. His office staff are so sweet, and are equally as great and efficient as he! I finally have hope for my future with his treatment plan.

Dr Rao, Dr Cheng, Natalia, Kimmi and Andrea have been wonderful and helpful to me and my daughter for the past year. Natalia is always very kind and shares a beautiful smile at every visit; my daughter loves all her bright, fun dresses also. I have always felt heard and deeply cared for at California Spine Care. I appreciate all the staff and their patience and commitment to excellent care. Thanks all!

Dr. Rao is great to his patients on the surface but when you leave...he is the worst boss to works for. He is condescending, rude and treats his staff as though they are ill educated and unworthy of his presence. His wife works there and has absolutely no clue about medical information, but staff, patients, attorneys and basically anyone who is not her are supposed to role out the red carpet and do what she says ever though it is against the law and is a HIPAA violation. Yes, I worked there... I am the 3rd manager in 6mons and this is why. Thought you all should know. It’s a mess...

This is the MOST incompetent office EVER and you should NOT do business here. We were told that we had images received and a referral received by his office last week. This week they can NOT find the images and in addition to that, they made an excuse about the internal chaos of the office staff to explain the unprofessional behavior.

Dr. Rao performed spine surgery on my father at the beginning of the year and my step-mom at the beginning of summer. Both of their results are incredible! They were both suffering from severe back and leg pain to the point where they couldn't walk out of their front door. They met with Dr. Rao - who worked with them patiently, carefully and attentively - and now both cannot stop raving about him. Dr. Rao and his staff saved my parents and I cannot thank them enough!
