Viet H. Ho's Online Review Report Card

My wife was referred to Dr. Ho by another in network doctor. She called to schedule an appointment and was told that the appointment was covered by here insurance. When she arrived she was told by the office attendant that the doctor only takes “regular anthem” insurance. My wife has a gold PPO plan. After calling the John Muir Doctors Network I learned the doctor only takes HMO plans. I was then told by the office person that they take SOME PPO plans, just not all. Now she is faced with the choice of accepting recommended treatment at uninsured prices or continuing to suffer her ailment. Nice job.

Outstanding eye doctor ! I have been a patient for 4 years, with one successful cataract procedure and another soon to be scheduled. He has so much experience that he knows the patients' concerns and questions and has good answers at the ready. His office staff is so friendly, not the usual grumps. I took a friend for an eye appointment to his doctor and the office, shared by many doctors, felt like an assembly line. Dr. Ho has his own individual office and so, unlike a big office with many doctors, you don't feel like your are in a DMV line waiting for your number to be called. I have confidence in his professionalism and skill and that of course is key.

Dr. Ho treated my challenging cataract with skill, and did a wonderful job. I could not be more delighted. He has also treated my wife, and we have both been pleased with his professionalism.

He wanted to get me in and out! When he speaks to you, he is very short and curt, like he's irritated with you.

Over past several years I have received excellent care from Dr. Ho and staff. Recently had cataract surgery in both eyes during the pre and post surgery periods Dr. Ho, again, gave excellent care and understanding.

I saw Dr Ho because of a floater. He thoroughly examined both eyes, but did not help with any advice on how to deal or treat the floater. I mentioned that some doctors performing laser treatment and he just said "This does not exist". He did not explain why he did not like the idea of laser treatment and also did not offer any suggestion what else to do. It was a total waste of time. I cannot recommend him to anybody. If I could, I would give him no stars.

Just say no. The office and most of the staff are very nice but he knows less about dentures than my regular dentist. His only solution was $24K Implants which I refused because I am retired and on a fixed income. Wasted $68 on a consultation. He doesn't like any other type of bridge, including the two types that I enquired about. Told me that I was going to have to go toothless.

Dr. Ho is a great dentist. I started going here when he bought the practice from my previous dentist. The staff here is always friendly and welcoming. I have recommended Dr. Ho to several of my family and friends and all of them are very happy with practice. I just had my routine cleaning today and Ashley was very professional and thorough, it is always a pleasant experience when I need dental work and I visit this practice. I highly recommend Dr. Ho.

I really in joyed my time last Tuesday with Ashley, she was a great! She explained everything before performing the therapy an it was the first time I have experienced a PAIN FREE dental visit. Thank you Ashley ... I also enjoyed the vacation conversation with her. They really show a true interest in their patients.

Great 1st visit. I'm glad I was referred to Dr. Ho for my condition. Very thorough!
