I waited 45 minutes for my scheduled phone appointment with Dr. Wareham before finally calling and asking for a refund. The level of unprofessionalism she showed before even our first appointment left me with a bad impression. I waited 45 minutes for my scheduled phone appointment with Dr. Wareham before finally calling and asking for a refund. The level of unprofessionalism she showed before even our first appointment yesterday being so late left me with a bad impression. Does not come across as a doctor who cares for her patients. Leaving this review as a warning of what other potential patients can expect if they make an appointment with her.

She called me 30 minutes late. Then, after speaking for 5 minutes, (over the phone), she tells me that she can't refill my adhd meds because I am bipolar and not adhd. Ummm... I had 2 long formal adhd evaluations done already. She could've suggested a bipolar evaluation had she suspected it. The fact that she was so quick to diagnose me with bipolar in 5 minutes, without meeting me in person (or video), or seeing my past records or adhd evaluations, is a red flag. No wonder she takes LLU Risk Management insurance. She likely has a limited number of patients

Came here after my primary psychiatrist retired , she listens with no judgement and switched up my medication for a better result in my moods . I recommend for anyone

Scheduled my 1st appointment end Feb. 2020 to establish care (appt was set for 4/15/20). Called 4/2/20 to inquire if a phone visit was possible in light of COVID-19; was told that Dr. Wareham decided 4/1/20 (no joke!) she was not going to take any new patients (after I had already been scheduled)! Mind you I have a PPO insurance & am stable. This is very poor care, lacks compassion and is completely unprofessional! Southern CA should be aware of this providers poor professional style, which honestly sucks!

Dr.Wareham got very agitated when I asked her about all the side effects I was having and what I read online about each drug. I was concerned because she kept me on a medication that made my heart pound rapidly and gave me a beta blocker to slow my heart down but I read online that you should stop taking immediately if your heart reacts that way. I thought I was calm and very nice about it all. I told her I didn't mean to upset her and I was just asking questions but in the end she told me 'you can find another doctor' and shut her door on me. So... A) don’t go to this doctor or B) take whatever your doctor prescribes you and don’t ask questions

When my daughter requested to take a lower dose of medication because the one she is taken now is too strong Dr. Julie Wareham said “If You don’t stay on my plan your going to end up in a phyc hospital you disrespectful child.” Mind you my daughter is only diagnosed with anxiety and asked for her meds to be lowered extremely politely.
