Lawrence Koning's Online Review Report Card

Thank you to the office staff, nurses and Dr. Koning for making my first pregnancy an incredible experience. They always put my mind at ease even when I wasn't the easiest to deal with. There are not enough thank you's to give.

I was pregnant with twins in my first trimester when the doctor prescribed me antibiotics. A week later I miscarried and went into active labor to push out my twins in the ER. I would avoid this clinic and this doctor. What’s worst is they submitted claims to my insurance company months later after I changed providers. Support staff is nice that’s about it.

Without going into too much detail here, I'll just list the things that put us off from this place. Back in the height of the pandemic, this place appeared to be skirting mask rules. Also, when getting info here, at one point the doctor straight up started a sentence with, "Well maybe in YOUR country..."So if that type of thing isn't a dealbreaker for you, you may enjoy this doc.

We are so delighted to have Dr Koning as our OB Doctor. He has delivered two of my babies and the professionalism and experience is by far the best I have ever seen by him and his entire staff. I always feel comfortable coming to him and felt like I was in great hands during the entire pregnancy and delivery. He is very patient and answers all your questions and concerns and he will always take route of normal vaginal delivery and avoid C Section unless it is necessary. I highly recommend him!

Saw Dr. Koning today since I have been suffering with a recurrent UTI for 5 months ( I'm on my 6th round of antibiotics) and wanted to ask him why this keeps happening and if he could retest for a UTI. Well he comes in without introducing himself and begins talking quickly without letting me explain my history and situation or ask questions. He orders a urine test and more antibiotics and tells me to come back in 3 weeks and walks out the door. I never found out the results of my urine sample or had any of my questions answered. I felt robbed for paying my copay to spend 2 min with the doctor. I am scheduled to have an outpatient surgery with this doctor but will most likely be cancelling and going to another provider bc of the horrible treatment I got at this visit today and due to the fact that I wouldn't trust this doctor. Kayla the nurse practitioner on the other hand is an amazing provider. She took the time to review all my history and made me feel like a human being. I would definitely recommend patients to Kayla.

Great expert with NP Kayla. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. No complaints whatsoever.

Dr Koning is an excellent doctor, he really cares about his patients and is very knowledgable. I highly recommend!

Dr Koning is kind and caring, when doing exams of any kind he’s gentle and fast. He really tries to minimize any discomfort. Highly recommend!

I have seeing Dr Kayla who is a dr at this location for 15 years. She had to come to this office when my primary dr retired. That being said, she has been my dr since I have had to see gyno. I am beside myself the treatment I have received at this office. Julie the "office manager" is just awful.I have never been so disrespected. She blurted out my personal and financial information in-front of others in the waiting room. I had been coming weekly to the office during a miscarriage and I have accumulated a bill which I had never been told the balance of. I knew I had a balance and had asked previously if I could set up payment plan once I received my health savings card and was told no problem by the girls in the office. Well I came to speak with Ariana to set up a plan and Julie interjected herself into the conversation and proceeded to tell me I have a balance of x amount which she said in the middle of the office. I have never received a print out of my balance. She tells me how much can I pay now and if I can't pay a certain amount (large amount) by the end of the month I could not be seen. I said okay.. that I planned on making a payment that was the reason I had taken the initiative to a payment plan. That was the end of the conversation. I had a appointment the following week and was told by Julie I was not going to be seen after I drove out from Orange County. No one told me I wouldn't be seen beforehand... She did not ask me for a payment.. nothing just.. you will not be seen. I said I wanted to speak with the Dr because I feel I am being harassed since last week is the first time I was even told anything about a balance due and told I had until the end of the month. She asked me to walk out of the office with her which I said no... this was so unprofessional. I am now without a doctor and have to still be seen for fluid behind my uterus. After going through so much and having to deal with such horrible treatment at this office. I strongly recommend anyone thinking of going here to find somewhere else. They do not treat you like a patient or even a person for that matter.
