One star for the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Very dissatisfied with staff in charge of returning phone calls in order to reach anyone.Mostly, my calls go unanswered or are forwarded to a "Call Center" that cannot answer any of your health concerns. I finally had to go to the office in person, where a very rude and uncaring front desk person, "Jackie" admitted being "short-staffed." She had the most uncaring attitude and could have cared less about my needs. She simply shrugged her shoulders in response to my urgent medical concern. She bluntly refused to to help me saying my doctor was not in and there was nothing to be done! I asked for the supervising nurse, office manager anyone to help me, but this person quickly dismissed me saying they were "out to lunch until 2:00 pm." I waited until 2:15 when finally another staff came out to help me after I literally begged her to please help me so I could get my pain medication.TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE front desk/reception staff!!!!!One star for the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Too many horror stories to list. Avoid like the plague.
This is a terrible medical group. But, for most of the better insurance HMO’s it’s all you can get. There’s zero consideration for the patients they serve. There is zero continuity of care. Even if you’ve been seeing a doctor or Specialist for years they consistently send you to some random Doctor or facility with a 2 star rating. Even if you’ve been seeing a specific Doctor for years who has been keeping you healthy, they refer you to whoever they feel like. I have had to fight with them to try to see the doctors that have cared for me for years that they previously approved. They take forever to get you a referral and then don’t even send you to the Specialist that they sent you to before. They should ce called “Crime Care of Corona” if I could give no stars I would. This is a terrible medical group. But, for most of the better insurance HMO’s it’s all you can get. Numerous times PrimeCare has NOT provided my elderly father with the care he needs. My father was diagnosed with a 1 in a million, rare autoimmune disorder (vasculitis) by Loma Linda University (because Corona Regional couldn't figure it out) in Feb 2021. After his diagnosis, the LLU doctors wanted to schedule a follow up with with one of the top rheumatologists in the inland empire, who is also at Loma Linda. This was to be the beginning of knowing what his treatment was finally, after 8 months of not know what was wrong with him. They day before his appointment with the LLU rheumatologist, we get a call that primecare DENIED this appointment. This easily could have been avoided if they actually reviewed my fathers results and records from Loma Linda! They wanted him to see a cheaper arthritis dr. in Riverside instead. So, my dad went because he had no other choice, and even the Riverside doctor admitted she couldn't help him because his case was so rare and she had to refer him back to Loma Linda!! It is 4/30/21 and my dad still has not been seen by the LLU rheumatologist! He was supposed to be seen in FEBRUARY. All because Primecare wanted to save a couple bucks and not want to send him to the doctor he NEEDS. It is sad this organization is more money minded than patient minded! I would not recommend this medical group to anyone! I will be filling a grievance with Primecare, the joint commission, and anyone else needed. My father's life has been compromised and may be possibly lost because of Primecare's lack of competency and compassion! DO NOT trust them with your medical care, you will be disappointed, disregarded, and forgotten. They don't care about you, they just care about the money.
My Dr. is Smart, Kyle. He is professional and very kind. He gave me medicine for instant relief and referred to GI. For 11 days his staff at Eastvale office is not sending referral to see a GI. Sent many messages to Dr. smart through portal, but all deleted by Eastvale staff.Today I sent a fax to draw his kind attention. Need immediate help.A PATIENT GOES TO DOCTOR CRYING, COMES OUT SMILING..Madan Lal Gupta (Indian) 951 582 0583
Primecare Medical Group has been an nightmare to get an referral approved. My Dr sent in the request five days ago and just today my name appeared in their system, allegedly. Now I am being told it will be several more days before it can be reviewed and approved. Meanwhile, my headaches gets worse and worse. I would advise to choose a different HMO.
PrimeCare as a group responds quick and does a great job. However Citrus Valley Medical Group, Dr Bovetas office, does not promptly respond to prescription refills, nor do they respond with the correct rx. When it come to referrals they do not properly or professionally respond. If you question them..don't you will be best to find another provider.PrimeCare customer service quickly and efficiently resolved the surgical referral issue that Bovetas office refused to address. Good job Primecare! Bad job Bovetas.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
