Worst of the worst. Especially the office staff. Made up copays. No call backs. This is a prime example of shady doctor preying on sick people.

The office staff is the main issue. Rude and unprofessional. They do t call back your pharmacy to refill prescriptions. They aren’t open when they say to come in. And they randomly charge you hundreds of dollars for “copays” even though I have no copay and proved it to them they said “leave if you don’t like it”. It’s not an uncommon occurrence to see patients crying in the waiting room or back offices because of frustrations. They also have several HIPAA violations pending against them. The doctor is nice I guess. But he is very unprofessional. He injected me in the wrong spot for my injections.

Fourth pain management doctors office I’ve been to since 2014. But this is not a doctors office. They do not do a physical exam noting your limitations and pain. They offered me opiate meds which I declined because I don’t believe they help my pain issues. This office is walk ins and appointments but it’s first come first serve. It was packed with people and everyone coming out had a paper prescription. My insurance referred me.

I saw Dr Nik For A Year in His Escondido office, I MISS HIM SO MUCH!!! have the Absolute worst Pain Management Doctor now she has had me suffering immensely, I am calling my Insurance provider and BEGGING THEM for Dr Nik Back, Seriously, you will get irritated as Hell with the office Staff but Seriously if your Just nice and Patient with them they help you, they are just grumpy old ladies, like me...lol I guess that's why I get them But This Doctor Absolutely will not let you suffer, just follow their rules and don't be rude, and You will be very Happy, I'm going back, I hope to God, I'm going Back!!!

Dr. Khatibi never sees his own patients and has students run his whole pill dispensing operation. In addition, he has terrible mood swings and makes sexually inappropriate comments regularly. He’s also a DO that has MD written on all business cards.

This doctor is a horrible doctor!! I had a pain pump inserted by him and left to rot when time Came to fill it up again with medicine!! After showing up for my appointment I was greeted by a locked door I then followed up later that afternoon again a lot door with no phone call from him or his staff. Dr. Khatibi and his staff make up an excellent team. It is a rarity when you find a team that; listens to you, throughly investigates your concerns, and builds a comprehensive plan to treat you. I have a ton of gratitude for what him, and his team have done to help me.
