List of Coronado Ear, Nose And Throat's Reviews
Truly wonderful experience. Dr. Mark really listens, really educates, which is rare among doctors in my experience. My surgery went exactly to plan. So grateful I was treated here.
Excellent customer service! Rare personal attention. You actually get to talk to a real person when you call, they are responsive, very kind, and caring. They went above and beyond in the referral process. Highly recommended!
I was visiting from out of town, and wound up in the ER. I needed a timely follow up, and Dr. Scheurer was kind enough to see me on very short notice. He spent ample time with me, explained all of my options, and was caring and efficient in his approach. He met the skill levels and expertise I had hoped for, and set me on a good path. Kudos to Sue in the office that squeezed me in and stayed on top of getting me scheduled.
I had a great experience at the Coronado Ear, Nose, Throat clinic. We found this place from a Yelp and Google search and chose it based on Dr. Mark Scheurer's reputation. My mom needed earwax removal so she could be seen for a hearing aid appointment and the receptionist was very helpful in scheduling us during short notice. There is ample parking and the office is very nice and clean. The earwax removal was quick, efficient, and painless compared to my mom's experiences at the other clinics. I highly recommend Dr. Scheurer. He is an excellent doctor!
Amazing! Figured out what was wrong with my sinuses almost instantly and had great results after healing!
The service I received from Mark and his staff was unbelievable! I am currently getting out of the military and anyone who has ever served knows how much of a headache it can be on the way out back to the civilian world. Tracking down medical records, getting last minute appointments to document certain issues, scheduling hurdles, and most notedly the lack of organization in the military process. Dr Mark Scheurer was my answer to all of this. I made one phone call to his office and explained my situation and I was given an immediate appointment. Upon showing up his staff was professional and kind and was able to answer all of my questions. In a matter of 30 minutes Dr Scheurer was able to do every test that I needed to have done along with a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. In a matter of 30 minutes Dr Scheurer did more for me than all of military medicine combined in the past year. He is understanding, compassionate and former military himself so if you’re prior military and suffering from service related injuries regarding your ears, nose & throat, he understands the lingo, the system, and the complexities of the military bureaucracy when it comes to getting efficient results and I cannot recommend his services highly enough! He was the answer to all of my current problems!
I came to Dr. Scheurer after suffering for months from a very unusual set of symptoms which seemed to revolve around sinus related or inner ear problems. My GP and his go-to ENT referral were dead ends. I was a 30 year old frequent surfer and trail runner who had suddenly been completely debilitated to the point of stumbling over and blacking out in bouts of vertigo, and I was at my wits end. I went to Dr. Scheurer as a sort of last ditch shot at some kind of diagnosis. He was patient, took detailed notes and I could tell that he was genuinely interested in solving my "puzzle". He and his team went through the work to get a CT scan and MRI approved by my insurance and proscribed a round of treatment based on a working diagnosis. Although we never found an answer with Dr. Scheurer's office directly, the experience gave me the confidence to advocate for myself and set the expectations I should have with my physicians, which led me to change my GP. My new GP, who happened to be an infectious disease specialist, took clues from the groundwork laid by Dr. Scheurer and after 13 months of what felt like being a prisoner in my own body, one more slightly adjusted round of treatment and I was back to my normal self. I should add - We discussed the possibility of a procedure involving my sinuses. A prior ENT suggested it but couldn't really explain how he thought it would help yet he was still somewhat pushy about having the procedure. Dr. Scheurer also mentioned it but was very frank with me about the uncertainties vis a vis my symptoms. He was the FIRST physician who looked at my symptoms as a whole. We discussed the cost and given all the variables it just didn't seem worthwhile. He agreed. I felt very much in control of the decisions and never felt I was being pressured to pursue treatment that didn't "sit right" with what I was experiencing.
Gruff, grumpy and rude. Bedside manner counts for a lot, especially if the doc doesn't intend to fix the problem, but charges over $1600.00 for a wax removal and calls it a surgery.
Walked me through the procedure at the initial consultation and answered all my questions. During the operation my daughter wanted to watch. He took the time to show her what he was doing and why. Great results! I can breath through my nose again and clear my ears for the first time in decades! I am still very happy several months later!
Best ENT I’ve been to. Spent time explaining everything and I felt like I was in good hands.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
