List of Parmela Sawhney's Reviews
I saw Radha, Dr. Sawhney's P.A. and I would give her 6 stars if I could.I had been having stomach pain for years, and none of my former PCPs had ever done anything more than tell me to take Pepto.Radha was my first PCP to actually listen to me, and send me to a GI Specialist, who found an ulcer. Our first appointment, she sat down with me, listened to my concerns, offered her input, and then we made a decision on what to do going forward as a team. I still remember tearing up as I said thank you. Also, the front staff at the office are all incredibly kind and got my referrals to me within a day! Wish I had found them sooner :)
I walked to her location to turn in my intake paperwork and the door would not open so I thought they may be closed because it is Halloween. Then I walked to the sidewalk to call. As I was calling a man walked up and they let him in. I said ok so you will open the door for him but not me. She did not respond and just closed the door behind him. Very rude receptionist. I can not make a comment on the doctor because I have not seen her yet.

Have had a great experience with Radha, the PA in the office. One of the only practitioners I have ever seen who truly listened to my concerns and respected my own knowledge of my body and took proper action in ordering the actual tests I needed. The scheduling staff are hard to deal with. They have called me to cancel my appointment the day-of more than once. They are uninformative and not very polite. It's sad to see great practitioners receive a bad reputation because their office staff is impolite and unorganized.
It has been a nightmare dealing with office staff Karla and Rose. They have issues, are disrespectful and unprofessional to the nth degree. There is no way to contact the Dr. Therefore they have no accountability.
Five stars goes to Dr. Sawhney, MD and the office staff. The intake of becoming a new patient was seamless, and the two women who assisted me were prompt and professional. I asked a question and was told that they would call me back with an answer, and within the hour I was called and my question was answered. Let's face the facts regarding Yelp; other reviews that I am noticing here are quite in contract to my experiences with the doctor and this office. Often if you see long-winded complaints in a review you can go to that "yelper's" page and there is a laundry list of negativity. I highly recommend Doctor Sawhney is if you want a doctor who listens and understand the whole body function and isn't just focused on prescribing more and more chemicals / prescriptions.
Office is dirty, always have a wait of an hour, good luck getting your refills. I’ve waited 4 to 5 days at least to hear and then had to call asking where my refill was. Always the same answer, the doctor is backed up. I’m done, I found a new doctor today.
Very caring and experienced doctor who is a great listener and very informative and kind. The staff is very nice also.
Very good practice, from the front office to the caring doctor who listens and does a great job explaining various options.
Dr. Sawhney seemed like a great doctor at first until I had to go to the ER and had severe symptoms of an unknown illness. She then ordered more tests and one revealed I had a tumor but she sluffed this off. She appeared unconcerned and actually told me that I should retest in another 6 months to see if the tumor had grown more. I later learned that if this tumor was malignant it could spread rapidly and may threaten my life--I didn't have 6 months. Dr. Sawhney has an overly sedate manner and is not actively involved with patients especially in times of crisis. She should not be practicing medicine and insurance companies should seriously consider quality of care when considering to let this doctor join their medical group.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
