My experience started off well but as a few visits I found that DrDiggs has a bad temper and needs anger management classes. I tried to get another Cardiologist but he lied and told everyone that it was my problem. All I asked for was a different Cardiologist. I would NOT have any other doctor. He is the nicest person with a great staff. I am a veteran who will not go anywhere near a VA facilty for any healthcare. I vet all of my doctors and am so thankful to have found him.

Dr. Thomas Diggs is an Annapolis grad, former Navy officer, and a great cardiologist.  He is an excellent listener, and knows when to ask critical questions regarding his specialty.  I'm am very glad I was referred to him.The staff is friendly and very helpful with scheduling future tests.  All in all, a very pleasant and efficient medical office.Be advised that the parking around Prospect Place can be tight to non-existent during the day.  However, I belatedly observed ground level parking under the medical center, which I believe patients can use.  I'll try that area first next time.

I was unfortunately stuck at work and unable to make the appointment (in which I apologized profusely to the receptionist) and upon his call back, Dr D said "monitor was clear. You should have called to let us know" *click*

Dr Diggs and his staff are incredibly kind. I came in for a yearly check up and he took the time to answer all my questions thoroughly and patiently. I highly recommend him.

Had we followed his advice, my 81-year-old sister would have died of congenital heart failure. He wanted to treat her with medications rather than perform an angiogram. A more competent cardiologist performed the angiogram and after surgery she has fully recovered. According to other cardiologists, medications only would have caused her a very painful death by drowning in 3 or 4 months.Anyone who goes to this Dr. does so at his own peril.

In the summer of 2015, my 81-year-old sister went to the Sharp Coronado Hospital emergency room with what turned out to be a heart attack. After several hours she was seen by the on-call Cardiologist, Thomas Diggs, MD. As the primary care provider with her full medical and durable power of attorney along with a family doctor, we wanted her to have an angiogram. In spite of the fact Dr.Diggs recognized  the patient was suffering mild dementia, he demanded the patient clearly state that she wanted an angiogram. His alternative plan was to treat her with medications. He even called the primary care provider, who was only trying to take care of his sister, a bully even though Diggs did not know any of the family relationships. Fortunately, she was moved to Sharp Memorial Hospital where she was seen by a competent cardiologist who, with consultation of the primary care provider, did an angiogram which showed that 3 arteries were fully blocked and could not be stented. After consultation with the cardiologist and the thoracic surgeon it was decided to perform a three-way bypass which was successful, and the patient has fully recovered. We were informed that if we had followed Dr. Diggs plan to treat her with medications she would have died in 3 to 4 months of a very painful death by drowning. In our opinion, anyone who goes to Thomas Diggs, M.D. does so at his own peril.
