As a hospice nurse of 6 years, when I heard that my family member needed services and was out of my companies service area I have to admit, I was worried. As a hospice provider I must say I WAS a little bias, I did not think another hospice could provide services as good as mine. I must say, I was wrong. Advantage Hospice up in Riverside humbled me and I will forever be grateful for the amazing care they provided to my great Uncle. I worked with Yazmin in San Diego before she left to advance her career with Advantage Hospice in Riverside. I knew I could call her and she would be able to take care of my family. I had worked along side her for a few years and had the opportunity to see her caring and compassionate heart she had for all her families- now it was my turn. I am so grateful she was just a phone call away. My family was so appreciative of the team. I called them often to make sure everything was going ok and they could not speak more highly of everyone. Case Manager Journey-RN and LVN Charlene made a beautiful team to manage my Great Uncle and Auntie. Music therapist, Chaplin, SW- I can not thank them enough. I could not be more proud of my friend Yazmin for making this career move- she sure chose the right team. Advantage Hospice, thank you from the bottom of my heart. From one hospice to another, bless all of you. Our passion and goal in life to to help people understand that hospice is not about dying, it is about living! We can not prevent the inevitable but we can promote quality of life and give the patients those moments that mean the most. Hospice patients live linger than those who are not on services, an average of 29 days- Extra time for families to share those precious moments is what the hospice heart is all about. My Great Uncle Armand passed peacefully surrounded by his wife of 61 years, daughters, sister-in-law and myself. The hospital was trying to get my Uncle to go to a nursing home- he wanted to be home and if it was not for Advantage Hospice my Uncle would not of been able to pass peacefully at home.

Professional, ethical and compassionate care

We came on Advantage System Hospice a month ago.our precious hospice wasn't meeting my husbands needs!  All I can say is THIS is how a hospice company should be.  That treat family with care and dignity.  Megan who told what to expect did t give us any i formation that was not accurate.  Cheryl the nurse manager.....amazing!  Fern and Journey our nurses are professional, caring and the BEST!  Jennifer tends to his personal care like no other has ever sone.  My husband said, "I haven't felt this clean in along time" KAren our social worker always here to help and then there is Chappy our chaplain.  This man is truly a gift from God!  He listens and loves his patients.  I can't say enough great things.  I'm just so blessed there the ones taking care of my sweet husband.     I highly recommend them'

Excellent care and customer service in all offices San Diego, Costa Mesa and Riverside. Community Liaison's meet the patients prior to discharge and walk them through the process.All offices are professional and provide empathy for those they treat and also the family members who are wondering how this is going to work.They help prevent any readmissions to hospitals and skilled nursing facilities. Clinical staff is top of the line and will have answers for the patients and family members.Five star rating for all branches of Advantage Health Systems

First to review! Yay! :)Advantage Health Systems was first founded in central San Diego in 2006 ish. Since then, they became one of the leaders in home health and hospice. They are now successfully expanding north of SD. They are now up and running in Riverside. Soon, the Costa Mesa branch will be up and running as well.If there are any issues, let the CEO or directors know. The CEO takes care of his business well and takes every opinion, issue, complaint, and compliment seriously.
