I completed endometriosis excision surgery with Dr. Behbehani in November 2025, and I’m so glad I did! After being misdiagnosed for 20+ years, I learned that I likely had advanced, stage IV endometriosis affecting numerous organs in my pelvic region (ovaries, bladder, appendix, etc.). I selected Dr. B. due to 1) her ability to operate on any organ in the pelvis, which other doctors could not do, and 2) her confidence and efficiency, which helped ease my anxiety and gave me 100% confidence in her as a surgeon. My surgery and recovery were completely seamless. In the OR, she held my hand and told me to think of a place I wanted to visit. Three hours later, surgery was complete. I took pain meds for exactly one day (but I was never actually in pain). I also never had any post-op bloating; I was only fatigued for a few days. I have 4 incisions (+1 in the belly button) which are ~1cm each. They look like little thin scratches, and one is barely even visible three weeks post-op. All a credit to Dr B.’s skill and precision. In regards to healthcare, ask the front office about a Gap exception. My surgical fees were covered through this exception (it requires special approval from your PPO plan), and I was responsible for other fees (hospital, anesthesia, and pathology) at out-of-network rates. I asked Dr Behbehani to preserve my fertility and give me nice scars, and she delivered. I started my cycle three weeks post-op, and had zero pain. I wholeheartedly recommend her if you are considering surgery! You got this 💛! Xo

Dr. Behbehani is the BEST. As someone with a lifelong fear of surgery, it took a lot for me to find someone to trust. She has the most amazing bedside manner and truly understands what endo patients are forced to endure in a medical system that routinely dismisses our pain. The day of surgery was such a breeze, and even in the moments that I started to freak out she was with me every step of the way. The healing process has been much easier than I ever imagined and I truly believe that Dr. Behbehani has helped give me my life back. She truly goes above and beyond, and was responsive to any questions or concerns in the weeks after surgery. If you’re wondering if it’s worth it, don’t wait.

Dr. Behbehani was amazing. She’s kind, considerate and very good at her craft. We had some emergency situation and due to insurance needed to get hysterectomy in less than 2.5 weeks before my insurance switched. She was able to meet with me pretty quickly after our first email, and arranged with the hospital to get the surgery done. The process was easy and she was very reassuring and professional and funny (she showed me photos of my uterus post surgery.) wow! I can’t recommend her enough. My recovery from her robotic assisted surgery was so easy. I was able to get back to my office job after just 7 sick days off. No complication whatsoever and my fibroid is pretty large. So bravo to Dr. Behbehani. Her staff was helpful and kind and very responsive.

I had suspected that I had endometriosis for a long time, but just lived with the pain. Infertility struggles with my husband is what brought me to the Center for Endometriosis and Fertility. Dr. Behbehani was able to identify signs of endometriosis from an ultrasound during my first visit in May. I decided to moved forward with excision surgery in July. Dr. Behbehani will make you feel at ease during every moment of the process. I’m thankful that she made me feel confident in my decisions. Maria and Sharen were always able to respond within the day or next if I had any questions. Dr. B also posts very informative videos on her IG. I’m 3 months post-op and I can feel my body is healing more with each day. I’ll always be grateful to Dr. Behbehani and her team. Ladies, if you are on the younger side and suspect you might have endometriosis, please don’t wait until you want to have kids to worry about it. Catching it ahead of time is the best course of action and the Center for Endometriosis and Fertility will walk you through every step along the way.

Dr. Behbehani is the most professional and dedicated gynecologist I’ve ever met. My OB thought my high CA125 was from fibroids, but Dr. B insisted it was endometriosis. She was right—yesterday’s surgery not only removed a 5 cm fibroid but also cleared out a lot of endometriosis. That big fibroid had been pressing on my bladder for so long I couldn’t even drink a little water without running to the bathroom. Now it’s gone and I finally feel light and free. So thankful for Dr. Behbehani’s care and precision—she really gave me my life back!

Dr Behbehani is the best doctor I’ve ever had. After years of dishonesty and dismissal from other doctors I almost had given up on trying to figure out what was truly going on with my body. I was diagnosed with severe stage 4 endometriosis. Despite the complexity of my condition, I had a truly wonderful experience at the clinic with Dr. Behbehani. She explained everything clearly, made me feel completely safe, and gave me full confidence before my endometriosis excision procedure.
