He saved my life....my neck exploded after a surgery and then a halo. He realized early how this was going to change my life, talked to be about Meditaion, slowing down as I "have too many fast fibers" and that "I could look at life differently, slow down, enjoy". I am an incomplete quad who uses my chair for distance and standing. I worked out...the docs had done their job, now it was up to me. After 17 years I spent 10 hours on my feet giving vaccines out at The Forum and am looking at going back to work as what I am......a RN and an advocate. I am doing 3 days a week I would send my Mom to Dr. Carvalho

Amazing the individual care you receive from all staff. They all take an interest in you and treat you as a person, not a thing.

The overdose of amino acids he gave me along with the stem cells made my kidneys hurt and inflamed my liver. He gave the same dose to me with a weight of 100 pounds as he did to a grown man with a weight of 185. I would not recommend this doctor.

I have never left a review before, but was compelled to leave one after being in the care of Dr. Carvahlo. He is the first doctor in many years that I have felt not only actually cares about me, remembers me, but has actually taken the time to think about my case and treat me appropriately. I'm do not live terrible close to his practice, but it is totally worth the drive for me. He literally feel he has kept me out of a wheelchair. His staff is also great. Can't say enough about this practice.

I suffer from spinal stenosis and a herniated disc.This caused severe pain and limits on may walking and standing.Dr Carvalho treated me with medication and two epidurals.My pain is now  controlled and I am very grateful to him for mitigating my suffering.He also gave me good advice on standing and using my walker.He is a wonderful healer and a good person.His office staff is kind and helpful and always return calls promptly.Highly recommended.

I travel seventy miles to see Dr. Carvalho. It is worth the trip. He is the best doctor I have ever seen! He diagnosed a sever pain issue I have had for years in a matter of a single consultation. I am now doing rehab at his center. He has a team of physical therapists who are all excellent but what makes this a unique rehab experience is Dr. Carvalho walks around his center and checks out the progress of each patient as they are working with their PT. When I call his office with a question, he or a staff member always call me back within the hour. He is old school in the best possible way.

This doctor was pathetic. He only cares about how much money he can make off of me. He first met me and without asking much more than my allergies and where my pain, not even examining me, then he started to explain a hospital procedure to put a metal stimulator in my spine for my pain. He did not even know that I had a stimulator in my spine and it needed to be take out because it constantly becomes infected and that was the reason I was sent to this butcher. None the less I picked up my clothes and walked out. Now I have a great pain physician who removed my stimulator and placed me on low dose pain medication so I could work. Dr. Carvalho is a real peice of work. Stay away.

Incompetent doctor. This physician was terrible. He did not want to listen to me. He wanted to perform expensive injections to my neck and I was taken back because of his abrasiveness. When I did not want the injection he became mad at me. After a second opinion I went to a chiropractor who sent me to a surgeon who removed a tumor on my spine, curing my pain. Dr. Carvalho did not even do any tests with me. I would not put my trust with this doctor and would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Carvalho has spent his whole life preparing to serve his fellow man. His knowlege of body mechanics and his love of people make a physician who helps almost everyone he treats. It is fortunate he settled in Orange County and is availalbe to all who need answers and help.
