I was referred by another really good orthopedic dr. in Orange County to go to Dr. Wang. He stated, " he is the best surgeon in Orange County to fix my labral tear and impingement." Thank you to all his staff for getting me in the appointment, calling me back in a timely matter, working hard to get me scheduled for surgery. Some of you out there are like me and tried everything besides the s word. 2 MRI's since a car accident in 2004. Have gone too many orthopedic doctors in Orange County with no answers. There has never been a dr. that showed me on my MRI that I was born with square femur bones. I am lucky to finally meet him. This tear is not going away. Of course; after surgery the ball is in my court to follow his instructions. If you are in pain, need some answers, direction and possibly surgery; I feel Dr Wang will be your answer. Yours could be just physical therapy. Hoping; anyone who reads this gets their regular routine back. Namaste

The best in Orange County. I have seen him multiple times for my hip and knees, and am fully recovered from my hip arthroscopy surgery and back to running and surfing. Thank you Dr. Wang!

Traumatic experience. I saw Dr. Dean Wang. I am still shaking.

First visit with Dr Wang today and was fortunate enough to get in to see him quickly (My UCI GI guy can be a two month wait) after calling for an appointment and navigating the sometimes intimidating "refer me to the right guy" UCI switchboard system.. Early morning appointment, got right in. Associate took initial info (med student/intern?), referred me to x-ray, then Dr. Wang came in. He is very personable, he listens, did thorough range of shoulder motions test, gave me some preliminary treatment and exercise recommendations, and even treated a separate hip issue I'd had for years. Am I cured? Too soon to tell, but the office visit, his diagnosis, prognosis, explanation of the probable condition, and potential future steps including recommended therapy exercises was great. I'd been in pain for two months with a probable frozen shoulder and for years with the hip issue so left this morning feeling heard and cautiously optimistic. Very highly recommended.

Great doctor! Explained my condition and possible treatments clearly. He seems honest and cares about making you feel better. If you have any shoulder, knee, or hip problems, he is the guy.

I made an appointment with him because he is the only cartilage and hip specialist in the OC area and I'm glad I did. He is courteous, knowledgable, and explains things clearly. Thank you Dr. Wang

Dr. Wang was the 5th orthopedic surgeon I saw in the area before I decided to move forward with surgery. He was very knowledgable and explained the procedure thoroughly beforehand. I am feeling great, will recommend Dr.Wang to my friends and family!
