Elsa Fernandez, Md's Online Review Report Card

Not impressed with this office AT ALL. Last month I carried my son there for the first time for his 3 year old checkup, expressed concerns about his speech. Instead of worrying about his speech delay and getting him help for it like they said they would. They sent in a referral to Choc for an autism evaluation with a wait time of 9 MONTHS. How was that going to help my son? I had to take matters into my own hands, and get the evaluation done sooner somewhere else. He’s not autistic, he has a language delay. Now, I’m waiting to get an authorization forum sent to my insurance company for speech therapy, they don’t care about your child’s needs. Also, the Oriental Receptionist that picks up the phone when I call is extremely rude and has hung up on me multiple times. This place is literally the worse!

Lazy and rude receptionist. I won't make any more appointments with this doctor. My daughter was very disappointed. Don't waist your time.

Took my son for his yearly check up! Dr. fernandez was very kind and thorough.

I took my daughter here after she was born for her 1st week check up with Dr. Fernandez. She was extremely through and informative of what to expect with a week old. For being a first time parent both of these qualities were so comforting. I then had to take her again a week later for a worry check of my own and again she was very informative and even remembered our next visit for her month check up. Both times we felt very comfortable and I trust what Dr. Fernandez does with my newborn. There is a very friendly staff up front. This is an office for many doctors so they can sometimes get busy, but over all they are great! My husband and I would recommend Dr. Fernendez to anyone.

Not impressed at all with Dr. Fernandez or the staff. I will not go into details, but they are slow and very unorganized. I would not recommend them to anyone who values their time or their children's well-being.

First off she did not introduce herself. Second she never said her name, my daughters or mine. Third she said no information on her progress or even what it was at all. She repeatedly said wrong information including her age even after corrected twice. She didn't answer any of my questions about shots which were, "how far apart?" "Can I get any of them combined rather then all single?" I had to ask the nurse who came in after to administer the shots and she kindly told me which we're combined and that she would check the other locations to see who had them available. I would NEVER recommend Dr.Ferdinand to anyone. She was totally rude and barely spoke English. The STAFF was great!

Dr. Fernandez found a liver tumor on my 1 year old just by feeling around with her own hands. She saved my daughter's life.

Dr Fernandez is an excellent doctor , she has served UCIAs a Professor of pediatrics.She enjoys teaching and alwaysEager to learn the latest in Medicine.Her patients love her.

Elsa is so great I don't know where to begin. If there were 10 stars to rate her on I'd give her 11. She is personable, loving, caring, very smart, and very good with children. She has a passion for caring for children. I love my little girl to pieces and totally trust Elsa to care for her.
