I had the displeasure of being a patient of Robert Boda several years ago and found the experience to be quite difficult. He was overbearing with poor bedside manner and did not at all listen adequately to my concerns as a patient before making rash decisions in the shortest amount of time possible. He was replaced after it was determined that he was unfit to treat me properly and I was reevaluated and determined to have been misdiagnosed by Boda. All in all, it was a negative experience and if you are one to value communication and a good patient:doctor relationship in order to receive proper diagnosis and treatment, then I'd suggest you look elsewhere.

I had a very good experience with Dr. Bota. I thought he showed genuine interest in my experience, was very patient, and spent a good amount of his time learning about me and my concerns. Together we decided to explore Wellbutrin which ended up having a very positive effect on my state of mind. We met again to tune the dosage and I feel like I'm at a really good place now. I would definitely recommend him.

Dr. Bota was available, which turns out to be unusual. He listened during our consultaion, but interrupted the consult to talk to his intern and look at his cell phone several times. That was very off putting to say the least. He didn't really seem interested in me or my problems.

Dr. Bota was my doctor for many years at a different location. He helped me so much, even though at times I struggled greatly with medication and treatment compliance. I always felt that I could be open and honest with him about my co-occurring disorders. Dr. Bota truly cares. I want him to know I have been clean almost two years now, I'm a mother, I am in school full-timej and I am fully functioning. Life is amazing and I thank Dr. Bota for never giving up on me, even after 20 5150s. -Danielle
