Dr, Durairaj is an outstanding doctor. He is well regarded, and treats patients with great concern and kindness. He does not rush through an exam. He is conservative in his approach, while at the same time, not leaving any stone unturned. I am blessed that he is my cardiologist.

Excellent and skilled cardiologist who also takes time to listen and care for his patients.

A Doctor who demonstrates compassion, and good medical practice consistently. Thorough in his exams and his words of counsel.

I just want to say thank you so much for doing the heart surgery for our spiritual father Awire Suggs, so many prayers were said to our father Jehovah .God so that the procedure could be done without blood, and Dr. Duraira stepped forward, and for that we are so appreciative. We can never never be oh so thankful as well to Huntington Hospital.Sincerely

I want to say Thank you Dr. Durairaj, for taking on a life saving procedure called Transcather Aortic Valve Replacement on July 26, 2018. We as Jehovah’s Witnesses value our lives and the sacredness of blood, therefore refusing blood transfusion therefore accepting other medical procedures that could save our lives. You performed this delicate surgery with great concern for my father (Suggs) his wife and his family, my father on that day. You were so calm, caring and kind in your tone telling us how serious this surgery was. It was a success without the use of blood. Your team in that operating room were wonderful. Thank you!Doctors are trained as scientists, but for many the greater part of their work consists of talking to patients, I appreciate a doctor (you) who understands patients’ feelings and the stress they live with. But it is reasonable to ask, How many patients understand their doctor’s feelings and the stress he or she lives with? Doing so could surely improve doctor-patient relationships. We need to realize how much stress doctors/surgeon live with, some physicians suffer a type of burnout now called compassion fatigue. Never may that happen to you. To date, I've had an outstanding experience with Dr. Durairaj. He is treating me for an ASD. At my initial appointment, he happily took the time to answer my pages of questions, show me models of heart function, and lay out a clear and decisive treatment plan. I highly recommend both Dr. Durairaj and his Pasadena office location.

Dr. Durairaj took the time to explain all details of my condition, the available options and then performed the procedure in a flawless matter, also did a great job in following up with me weeks and months after the procedure. I Will highly recommend him to family & friends.

Dr. Azhil Durairaj is an excellent and a top notch Interventional Cardiologist. He is extremly well trained at USC and UCSF. He has great bedside manner and he is very caring and he is also a great clinician.
