I am so grateful that Dr. Hechanova err on the side of caution and scheduled an angiogram. Once he got in and realized the blockages and obstructions in my coronary arteries, he did the angioplasty to unblock and insert stents into the arteries. I felt 100 times better after the procedure. He has a great personality, always listens and explains.

in 2014, Dr Hechanova (foothill cardiology, Covina, CA) angiography (he could not proceed to do angioplasty, I believe for lack of his ability) left me unable to walk more than 300 feet. He arranged his friend , a vascular surgeon in Arcadia, CA, to enable my artery for blood flow. I would not recommend him except, perhaps, for cardiac medicine.

Dr. Hechanova is the best doctor. His staff on the other hand is not. He has one nurse Dolores who is great and goes above and beyond to help you. If you need to talk to the doctor, don't even bother calling, you play phone tag with each person who picks up the phone. Then you are told to leave a message. If you call back that same day and try to speak to the doctor your reply you get is you left a message now wait 24 hours.Once they left a message to change blood thinner dosage,3 days,beforecal

Dr. Hechanova performed heart surgery on both my parents, which my father is still alive after his surgery over 20 years ago. Unfortunately my mother passed away 7 years ago due to other complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Hechanova for any Cardiac surgery, if it means having to sit in the waiting room for a couple of hours for him, that means he is probably spending some quality time with his patients and answering some important questions, or he is occupied saving someones life. Thank you Dr. for your help.
