I called on a Thursday to get authorization for a patient to get their pain medication. I left several messages for the girl in charge of authorizing medication to be filled and never returned my call. I called back on Friday and no one answered the phone. It wasn't even 5:00 yet . They close at 5. I guess they wanted to leave early for their weekend. How sad they don't care anything about their patients. Dr Metyas if you can't handle are your patients needs you need to not except anymore patients. Please check on your staff for not doing their job. You Dr Metyas should care for your patients. Your supposed to help them not leave them in pain.

Horrible service, I have called 4 times regarding my medication no response ,went to the office this morning to get my prescription, to no avail the lady responsible to call the pharmacy told me to go home and to go to the pharmacy in two hours. nothing no one has called the pharmacy called back after 2 hours. Called the doctor's office and spoke with manager he transfer me to speak with doctor Metyas and he told me to look for another doctor because he has 1,700 PATIENTS and it was IMPOSSIBLE for his office to call the pharmacy on time. As someone with a chronic pain condition, having to beg for days to have my prescription refilled AFTER I've ran out, is torturous. The dr and his office do not care for the patients. I'll be looking for a new rheumatologist. Never going back to that dr office again. I don't recommend going there. Find a dr who will actually care about you.

Great knowledgable Dr, great staff! I don't understand why the bad reviews. This is one of the best Dr's with lots of awards.

Omg...this place is such a meat market! I don't see an actual doctor, and in the past, the "practitioner" was just cold, well not cold, but robotic. Seen Dr. Chen once...(that visit reminded me of my Mom's last E.R. visit...I got really upset and began screaming that "she needs healthcare, she needs medical attention"!!! As the doctor was about to prescribe more pills and send us home!Ha!  My Mom passed 6 wks later)I sometimes think..."What's the point?"Lupus is lupus...and it ain't goin anywhere anyway!In order to receive a refill on medication, I learned this morning you have schedule a visit every 3 months...(just raking in money. Not one "professional" HERE bothered taking the time to share that with me! This place does NOT have an energy of compassion, care or personal attention. This place is has fancy lighting in the lobby, low income & elderly patients and folks coming & going in droves

Staff in general is good, but unfortunately the lady  at the front desk is very rude , I tough she had a bad day when I took my daughter there for the first time, but no, she is very rude even over the phone not a people person at all , she shouldn't be at the front desk!.

I am unfortunately fortunate to go in 5 days out of each month for infusion for 4 1/2 hours. After reading all of the Negative reviews I'm shocked. I have never had any experiences in which the office manager was not able to resolve the issues .(Joey is amazing) Sandra is on top of everything she makes sure you have an appointment that fits you and what the doctor is recommending. Back to my infusion treatment Ada really makes it as painless as possible, she is on top of her profession. She is a joy to hang out. Dr. Metyas has to be one of the best doctors I have the pleasure to see. If you have an illness that no one can figure out or doesn't listen to you. I will always recommend Dr. Metyas  if he can't help for any reason he always gives you great recommendations on other doctors.

I reviewed the Yelp reviews and was concerned but my sister recommended this office. The staff was nice and professional.  I didn't wait long, met with the PA who was attentive, thorough and helpful. The doctor was nice, seemed busy but answered my questions. I have a follow up visit, I'll let you know how it goes :)

Dr. Metyas has been my doctor for we'll over a decade and seen me through many difficult health challenges. He has a wealth of knowledge and resources and has managed my medical care with excellence. I rely on him and trust him fully. He is a researcher and at the forefront of many medical advancements. I feel extremely fortunate to be his patient.
