Filomena S Pascual's Online Review Report Card

I've been going to this doctor for about six years now and the service has never been great but it's never been bad, until recently. Nothing against the doctor but if her staff doesn't communicate well then it just ruins the whole experience. The lack of urgency is never okay when it comes to the well being of their patients. I've never complained before because I understand there are situations that are out of their control and even when I've caught them chit chatting while prepping the shots that would be administered, I've decided to be patient and not complain. However the lack of urgency and professionalism that was displayed this week is unacceptable for ANY patient. I explained thoroughly that my son needed to be seen ASAP in order to obtain a referral and an appointment the following day and only had a 8 hour window to push it through with my insurance and yet the staff failed my son. They gave him a 330 appointment knowing the specialist office closed at 4, once the doctor physically saw my son, she apologized for him not being brought in sooner and she couldn't understand why her staff disregarded his condition. They had to jump through hoops to get me my approval last minute but I wouldn't know if I'd get an appointment with the specialist until the following morning because the staff failed to give him a sooner appointment. Luckily the specialist made an exception and squeezed us in because of my son's age and the urgency of his condition but it could have all been avoided if the staff had done their job properly. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt because they did do what they could once the doctor urged them. However, exactly 2 days later I call to make an appointment for my daughter and I am asked the reason for the visit, the severity of her condition and then she tells me that's she going to find out when they can see her. She then placed me on a hold, after listening to static for 9 minutes, someone else answers the call and asks me what I need. I explain that she was going to find out when's the soonest my daughter can be seen and she begins to ask me the same questions she did 10 minutes prior??? I repeat myself and ask why the other girl didn't communicate that someone else would be helping me or why didn't she take the time to explain to her co worker my situation before just dumping me on her. She then replies "we'll do you want me to help you or not?" And proceeds to be rude and justify her actions by saying that she's helping with phone calls and if I want an appointment or if I want to be placed on hold again. I just don't understand it, if the staff is unhappy with their duties then maybe they should consider another job that will make them happy to help someone without being rude or careless. I will be switching doctors due to her staff, I appreciate Dr Pascual but it's just not worth dealing with her staff any longer. Hope y'all have a better experience than I did (:

I have three little ones under the age of ten, so I've been taking them here for almost ten years. I appreciate and really like Dr Pascal. She has always been very good with my kids and I've never had a problem with her. The office does get packed and may have a long wait at times but I've noticed it all depends on the day and time of day. Just like any other office there can be busy times and short wait times. I've been there when it was an hour wait once and it was frustrating but I figured all the kids must be sick. No big deal. I've also been there and out within thirty minutes. So please don't judge this office on one bad visit. She's actually a really good dr. The staff is helpful and always helps me with paperwork and things when I need it fast. Super organized and friendly. Hope my review helps.

Took my 4 month old daughter to see her and her staff. Everyone was very friendly and we were seen very quickly even with filling out new patient paperwork. She did a quick and very thorough examination and listened to my concerns. No sugar coating what my child needed was refreshing Absolute delight of a woman

I've taken both of my boys there and have always had good experiences. The wait is never as long as I've had to wait in other doctors offices. She always listens and doesn't dismiss your concerns. The office is clean and the girls there are very nice.

Dr. Pascual was at the hospital when both of my kids were born. Now 14 years later she is to still their doctor. She always treats the kids Thoroughly and with kindness. I am always satisfied when I leave and the staff is friendly and attentive.

Aloha She is the best doctor. Appointments are recommended as they get really busy.

She is the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever met. I have gone to her for 15 years and i hope that I will never see her again. Every time I go for an appointment she makes me feel less than a price of garbage. She has made me feel worthless and that everything I do isnt good enough for her standards. She belittles patients and is rude to parents and kids.

If I could give this awful AWFUL woman -100 stars I would. I beg parents not to bring your child here. She is another doctor who does not care about the wellbeing of your child, she will come into your appointment rush through everything. not even completely do a physical exam on your child. will not listen to your concerns. she speaks over you, she's degrading, she rushes through your appointment, you don't even have time to express concerns or ask questions because before you know it she's walking out of the door. she DOES NOT CARE. will push and pressure vaccines regardless of what you're comfortable with for YOUR child in that moment. My son has seizures, and there are two vaccines that are not recommended for him by the CDC themselves and she did not care. I literally sat in the room sobbing because after trying time and time again to explain to her my concerns, she did not care and still pushed vaccines on to me that i was trying to protect my son from. His school needed her to fill out a form (I included a picture of how she "filled it out") describing what his seizures may look like and what his behavior would look like afterward and she left both of those spots completely blank because that is how much she does not care. I hate her and I do not recommend anyone bring their kids here. She is disgusting and does not care. Your kids walk in and she sees a walking paycheck. Ready to pumped with vaccines. I'm not an anti vaxxer by any means, but I think that parents concerns for their children's safety should be taken into consideration and I will say it for the last time SHE DOES NOT GIVE A FUCK. don't go here. you are literally putting your children in the hands of the spawn of satan. there are MUCH better doctors out there even for people with medi-cal/IEHP. find better, do better. Filomena you're a bitch and I hope you find out about the formal complaint I filed against you. -Hannah Zugzda

Love this office. Always been wonderful with both my kids. Been here for 14 years. My son was really sick as a baby and she always knew what to do. Highly recommend. Short waits and friendly staff.

She is very confrontational very uburpt disagrees with any opinion other than her own talks down to parents and does not make her patients feel comfortable.
