I'm really grateful I discovered this dermatology office because not only is everyone so understanding and friendly there, but they really explain to you what you need to know about a procedure you're getting done. I've went to places where I felt rushed but I never received that feeling here. You can't just trust any dermatology clinic out there but I can definitely trust this place for sure. Dr. Ammar especially, has been nothing but amazing since the day I met him and spoke to him about everything that was going on with me. I trust his word on everything so I know I'm in great hands for the last 6 years. Alicia at the front desk is amazing to work with as well. I highly recomend to everyone.

Dr. Ammar is thorough, caring, diligent, a great listener and communicator, a wonderful surgeon, and always answers every question I have. He makes me feel really comfortable and reassured. He takes his time with me during my appointments. I've been his patient for 12 years since my melanoma diagnosis and appreciate his great care and attentiveness. His staff is also wonderful! I highly recommend him.

Dr Neal Ammar is a compassionate and caring Doctor who has taken excellent care of me and the removal of my skin cancers ... I live in Oregon now but will return to California to have his continued dermatology medical care

A wonderful doctor, who takes his time in examining you and explains everything. He is thorough, and has a wonderful bedside manner.

I have read other reviews and don't understand why my experience was so different. He glossed over all my symptoms: rashes, itching, and pain on my back.. He said I have dry skin. I have been plagued with oily skin my entire life. Also I use coconut oil on my skin daily. He didn't think any further testing was needed. Dr. Ammar is not a thoughtful, careful doctor at all. My health has declined and the skin symptoms are worse. I have gone elsewhere for care.

Dr. Ammar is incredibly thorough, compassionate, patient and explanatory during the visit. His actual work is unbelievable...the results of his mohs surgeries is exceptional. His attention to details is great and he is meticulous in his work. The best doctor I have ever interacted with and his dedication to his work is of highest level. A true professional and an artist in his work. Highest recommendation.

I have been a patient for over 11 years of Beach Cities Dermatology and always saw one doctor that did a great job. I needed another procedure and Dr. Ammar was the one to do this. From the first meeting I felt he understood my problem, made me aware of all the therapies at his disposal and with his extremely good eye sight saw things I was not aware of. I was sold.
