List of Matthew Davis's Reviews
Dr. Bruner was our Dr. until he left the practice leaving us in the hands of a Dr. Matthew Davis. My first visit with Dr. Davis was, to say the least, incredible. He walked in, said not one word, looked at my file informed me of blood test needed and visit was over!He did not even make believe and wrap a stethoscope around his neck!I asked how he was handling all of the new patients he inherited from Dr. Bruner, no response, rushed to leave.I thought let him get over the stress he must be under with his friend, Dr. Bruner leaving and he inheritingall his patients. As such I waited four months returned for a “check up” , Davis entered, no salutation completely mute,no stethoscope, thus no check up.That method of no care and complete lack of interest in his responsibilities as a family doctor gave me cause for great concern.Again waited three months, tried again, same situation,No salutation responseNo check upNothing at all.Why see a Dr. who not only does not speak but does not even make believe by draping a stethoscope around his neck.Dr. Bruner always :Responded to my greetings, reviewed my blood work, asked how I felt, any problems and ALWAYS LISTENED TO MY HEART AND HAD ME BREATH TO CHECK MY LUNGS AT MINIMUM!What is the purpose of Dr.Davis being “in practice”?Why see a Dr. who says nothing and checks nothing?I called the main office, they seemed concerned, promised a call back...NOTHING.I say, caution, your life and health does not seem to be on this persons radar.
Dr. David is a good doctor but its like pulling teeth to get ahold of him. Not sure why the office doesn't call back right away but it you have an emergency....DON'T CALL his office...dial 911 instead.
Dr.Davis has been my Dr. for the last 12 yrs. I had the utmost respect for him until my visit on Wed. I don't know if he was having a bad day, or had a bad lunch, but he was very arrogant, insulting, disrespectful and dismissive and actually walked out of the visit. All because I was not ready to take a medication he was suggesting without checking into it first. He said he was frustrated and if I'm not listening he would consider not treating me. I told him I would think about it , but wanted to research the medication and he said good luck with that and let me know how that goes and walked out. Didn't even look at me .I asked him if I should come back in 6 months, no answer, so I left. He had also said he would be doing me a disservice if he didn't suggest the medicine. I have no problem with that, but there was no need to act the way he did. I moved 3 yrs ago and still go to you driving an hour each way. Why, because I respected you. Not anymore, I will be looking for a new Dr.
Thought I was in the wrong place, certainly not a Dr. office. He came in was mute. Did not even make believe and drape a stethoscope around his neck. Did NOTHING. BESIDES NOT RESPONDING TO MY QUESTIONS, HE DID NOT LISTEN TO MY HEART,LUNGS, NOTHING ST ALL. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. CALLED MAIN OFFICE TO INFORM OF METHOD OF “NO CARE” they said will call back after conversing with him....never did. DAVIS THEN SAID “I HAVE THREE ROOMS FULL WITH WAITING PATIENTS, YOU SHOULD FIND ANOTHER FAMILY DR. HOW LEGAL IS IT TO NOT GIVE SOMEONE WARNING AND TIME TO FIND ANOTHER DR. WHAT ABOUT MEDICATION, CONTINUED CARE FOR AILMENT? I ASK, IS THAT LEGAL?! We are seeking counsel ,and will pursue. If this person does not care for human life, there is not one reason he should be in the office ,charge to walk in and walk out. Will certainly keep everyone posted of counselor recommendations.
Dr Mathew L Davis good by.
Dr. Davis is fantastic. Can not recommend highly enough.
Hi, heard good things about Dr Davis. Tried to set up an appt. as new patient and was not ill. After way too long listening to music, I got through to someone who really didn't know much about his schedule,or much else either, put me on hold, came back on, then said was way out on seeing new patients. She said he was a little better seeing regular patients but was very busy. I gave up. Just seemed as if that ordeal would be too much to go through if I was sick. He must be really great, but that call wore me out.
Dr. Davis has been my GP for only a few months. He is much better than my previous GP of 30 years who went Concierge. & quit taking Insurance..
I have to say Dr. Davis and the staff at Optum are all very concerned and attentive to my family. I would highly recommend them!
Dr. Davis is a 10-star physician, an excellent listener, and a profoundly phenomenal "Dr. House" without the quirks and inappropriateness. He was my doctor in the past, but he was my mother's doctor for over fourteen years until her passing. His attention-to-detail, level of compassion and understanding, and his follow-up was consistently top notch. Everything this man does is from the heart. Not once was his interpretation of issues or his conclusions incorrect. I know, without doubt, that quality years were added to my mother's life due to his expertise and care. He is also ethical in a world where many people seem to have lost their soul. Do you need to wait to see him? Damn skippy, most of the time. He is stretched from limb to limb and does not skimp on time with his patients. Remember, the insurance companies determine physician's workloads now. I trust Dr. Davis with my life: that is how much I trust this gentleman doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
