Dr Knee helped me when she was at UCSF. My ankle was shattered, my previous surgeon removed the external fixator to early, he sent me to another hospital it was determined that I should have amputated didn’t want to do that so I found Dr Knee I am still walking as long as I wear my brace. Great Surgeon!!!

Dr. Knee went out of her way to help me. She is dedicated, honest, well informed, sweet and compassionate. She answered all my questions on a Sunday night. She is easy to talk to. I recommend her highly.

Excellent Excellent doctor - I wished we could have resolved the insurance issues - my foot probably would not be a chronic pain issue for me now. I really wanted her to be my surgeon.

She could be the best podiatrist, but many will never know. Because her website and operations staff are inadequate. <br><br>Don&#39;t bother taking all that time to enter your name, insurance details, and availability on the website or chat. They don&#39;t work. <br><br>And don&#39;t bother leaving a voicemail. Nobody listens. <br><br>I guess she already has too many patients. What a waste of my time.

I saw Dr. Knee a couple of times and she really helped me with my foot problem. She&#39;s at a new location and is charging a &#34;facility fee.&#34; This fee is covered by my insurance but now the co-pay is nearly 4 times higher. I understand she is trying to pass on her costs but this is ridiculous. I

Warm and friendly doctor but did not notice that I had tendonitis.<br><br>I saw Dr. Knee 2 times in the winter and spring about some pain I was having in my right foot that would come as go periodically. I described the pain to her as on the outer side of my foot and deep within my arch. The doctor noticed that I had a stiff joint (not near the painful spots) and recommended a steroid injection and some insoles that distributed my weight off the joint and more onto the side of the foot. The doctor told me I probably had early onset arthritis (I&#39;m 29) and when I asked if there was any PT or stretching I could do for the pain, she said no. <br><br>Fast forward 6 months, I&#39;ve been wearing the orthotics and living with the pain thinking it&#39;s arthritis (which confused me because it&#39;s not joint pain). It reached a breaking point a couple weeks ago, and I couldn&#39;t put any weight on it or walk. I was unable to get ahold of anyone at Dr Knee&#39;s office so I scheduled an appointment with a new doctor (physiologist) who diagnosed me with peroneal tendonitis. I&#39;m now in a walking boot for 3+ weeks and the pain is severe. <br><br>I can&#39;t help but think that if Dr. Knee had listened to my description of the pain in the first place I would have gotten a diagnosis much sooner, before this problem became so severe. It&#39;s frustrating that I saw her two times and both times I came away without clear/correct answers. Also I&#39;m wondering if the orthotic made the situation worse since walking on the side of the foot is a contributing factor in peroneal tendonitis. <br><br>That said, the stiff joint did heal and she was helpful when it came to ordering blood tests to rule out autoimmune problems.
