Dr. Villanueva is a dedicated, well educated ophthalmologist who attended one of the top 10 universities for his medical specialty, Univ of Wisconsin. I trust him implicitly with my eye care.Dr. Villanueva performed surgery on my cataracts. He implanted new lens, called ReStor, which gave me nearly perfect vision. I do not require any. Kind of contact lens or glasses. Many years ago I injured myself, falling on in front of my home and got a black eye and a lot of bruising, and Dr. Villanueva came to my house to check me to make sure that my eyes were OK. He is a doctor who cares and values our relationship. I consider. Dr. Villanueva to be a community service because he is an important doctor in Daly City, who serves a large population of people of all backgrounds.The office is run efficiently with friendly staff and top-notch precision equipment to measure optics.If you value your vision, certainly, I would surely recommend Dr. Anthony Villanueva to care for any of your medical needs for your eyes.

Dr Villanueva has been my ophthalmologist for well over twenty years. In that time he performed surgery to remove pterygium from my eyes and monitored them for years the check for recurrence. He has also been treating me for glaucoma with a variety of ways to control it. I've had a great relationship with the doctor and his staff. I trust him with my vision, especially now that I'm over 70.

Dr. A. Villanueva is a great professional eye specialist. He explains very well what is going with the problem you are having at the time of your consult/treatment. Very knowledgeable of his specialty, friendly, nice bedside manner, very reassuring and caring, you can see it with the number patients that comes to see him. Office/treatment room is clean and office aide are very professional. He has been our Family doctor for a very long time. I highly recommend Dr. V.

Dr. Anthony Villanueva received his MD FROM the Univ of Wisconsin, one of the top ten medical colleges for ophthalmology in the USA. Our family has had him fir our eye doctor for over 30 years. During that time he has performed cataract surgery on me ( and I no longer require any intact or glasses) retinal laser surgery and once when I had a bad fall and got a huge black eye he came to my house to check on my eyes! He also treats my husband Jeff for pre-glaucoma condition. I trust him. He and his staff have always given our family great care. I travel from Belmont to Daly City to be his patient. I've found his equipment to be top flight. All indications are that he deserves five stars!Dr. Villanueva has gone on missions to other countries to donate his time and professional expertise to help people in need for surgery, e.g. Cleft palates. He's quite a loving, giving doctor!!

Dr. Tony Villanueva is a highly intelligent, professional eye surgeon who has treated our family for over 25 years. He is like family to us. When I had a bad fall which left me with a black eye, he came to my house to make sure I was all right. He recently performed a multi-focal cataract lens transplant on both eyes. I was extremely nearsighted but now my vision has been corrected and I do not need glasses. He used his own state of the art measurement instrument that made a difference in my vision acuity. The operation was done in an excellent surgical center in the building.I recommend Dr. Villanueva with five stars for anything from yearly vision care, to specialized laser surgery, delicate conditions like glaucoma or retinal detachment. He graduated from an excellent medical school, the University of Wisconsin, and has often served on a medical team in charitable missions. I have never had a negative experience with Dr. V. My wife Lynn & I plus our youngest son Joseph are very happy patients of Dr. Tony Villanueva. We have been patients for at least 10 years & we recommend him to all. He is not only very competent & very professional but also has a very pleasing personality. He is very detailed with regards to our vision- making absolutely sure about our contact lenses & eye glasses prescription are accurate. One time I had my right eye badly infected & severe contamination was evident, his office accommodated me the same day I called. We have been highly recommending him to all our friends & relatives and they are all very happy with him.

I recently had cataract surgery on both my eyes including having ReStor multifocal implants. Dr. Villanueva performed an excellent surgery for both eyes. No pain, no discomfort and most of all, I went from extreme bear-sightedness to 97%+ eyesight and no corrective lens needed! It's amazing and I am so grateful for Dr. Villanueva's professional expertise, confidence and state of the art instruments for pre-surgical measurements. Fr. Anthony Villanueva is an outstanding eye doctor/ophthalmologist. He has been my eye doctor for over fourteen years now and he always gave the best care to me and the other patients I know who were/are my parishioners as well as to my priest classmate.
