List of Edgar Celis's Reviews
I have been a patient of Dr Celis for a year and find him to be caring, professional, efficient, and effective. Frankly, his medical care has significantly changed the quality of my life. I have recommended him to friends and they have had positive experiences. I wouldn't hesitate to continue to recommend his practice.
I’ve only seen Dr. Celis twice since he’s became my pain management physician my primary doctor referred me to. In my opinion his practice is though and he listens to my affected body parts and devised a plan to address those concerns in a positive way I understand how I need to commit to myself. I am confident that my history of ongoing pain can finally see long lasting results. I welcome this approach and can’t wait to see the results.
Dr Celis is very knowledgeable and listens to your needs and concerns. Very pleased at how the office staff was so helpful at getting me in as a new patient and I didn’t have to wait a very long time. Staff is very kind, friendly and I would definitely recommend this office to friends and family.
They made me come in person for an appointment which is difficult for me given my level of pain. The doctor literally said to my face that he doesn't think it is worth it for him to treat my pain. Then he agreed to do ketamine infusions since that treatment has helped me in the past (my old provider stopped offering these). He said he wanted my records first. I sent them in and called to confirm they were received. But the front desk staff said they had no notes for me but would ask the doctor what the plan for me is and get back to me. I tried calling twice more and each time the same - we will ask the doctor and get back to you. And then they never call back. It's been months and I have daily moderate to severe pain with no pain treatment whatsoever. No communication with me or my primary care doctor. So unprofessional and a waste of time and money!
What a wack job! I saw him once, then one day I called him to get a refill, his assistant told me to be in his office within an hour, so I did, I showed up at 1:00 and waited for him, he walked into the office and said hi that was it. I asked him if he had looked at my chart to find out more about me, he looked at me as if I asked him if he was really a Doctor, told me he wouldn’t be treating me and told me I’d need to find someone else. I asked his assistant if he was still gonna see me she said sure. I never saw him again, what a wack job!
I would recommend Dr Celis to anyone having pain issues with their back. He will listen and help you find the best solution with care and compassion.I would not have made move from opioids without his help. I am grateful I met this caring Doctor.
Dr Celis is kind very passionate listens to your problems and helps you maintain the best pain management. HE IS THE BEST THERE IS.........
I have long standing pain issues, and was referred to Dr. Celis for his opinion. He reviewed my records, but did examine me at all. His comments and diagnosis was blunt and callous. Repeatedly stated that “you can’t get younger,” as if I was stupid. Outlined a dire future for me, being incontinent and unable to walk, and left. I’ve been upset ever since the appointment. I have seen several pain/spine specialists, and he was the most uncaring person I have ever met. He may be a good doctor only if you have a straightforward problem.
Update: It's hard to find a compassionate Dr who understands people pain issues. Due to Covid, I'm happy he provides Zoom appointments every few months as I'm sooo concerned with Covid and avoid as much exposure to others as possible. Dr Celis is very responsive with alternatives to various pain issues and I appreciate his knowledge of alternative procedures/knowledge of meds that help relieve CPP pain issues. I've been 109% satisfied with our communication and his suggestions for alternatives since I don't want ANY MORE SURGERIES! Just can't deal with more fusion surgeries, he seems to be empathetic to my concerns.
Please don't waste time to contact this facility. If you call on telephone you get a recording that they are closed for lunch. If you try to make online appointment you get no response. Complete wastage of time. Pls look for a service provider that responds to you promptly .

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
