The retina in my right eye detached while I was traveling. When I got back home my regular optometrist saw me immediately and realized I needed an ophthalmologist to deal with the problem. She recommended Dr. Palmer, who saw me right away and performed the procedure. Everything about the interaction went perfectly, including the procedure itself and the outcome. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Palmer to anyone who could use his expertise and skills.

One of the best specialists ever. His office waits are far too long. My 5 min appointment took 3 hours at his office. Once there Dr Palmer was exact, methodical and very caring. Its a shame people have to wait so long for such good doctors. Please work on the patient flow. Otherwise we love Dr. Palmer.

Doctor Palmer did my surgery for detached retina which was done on an urgent basis at Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose CA. He demeanor was very friendly and professional, and he did an excellent job. The surgery went great, and there are no complications. I would recommend Dr. Palmer to anyone, without hesitation.

I am a 37 y.o. female newly diagnosed with drusens of the eye. During a yearly routine eye visit, my optometrist noticed something peculiar and referred me to Dr. Palmer's office. As a healthy individual, it caught me off guard and made me very worried that I may have macular degeneration. I had several questions for the MD who looked as though my concerns were not important. Dr. Palmer had terrible bedside manners who appeared not so concerned with my questions. I left his office feeling terrible. I have made another appt to see another retina specialist to get another opinion. As a healthy mother of 3 young children, early signs of macular degeneration is a scary thing to have!
