My experience with Dr. Glafkides and his team was absolutely amazing! He listened to me, explained to me in simple words the entire process for my breast cancer situation and made me feel very comfortable about next steps. My surgery could not have gone better and it’s all because of Dr. Glafkides. He is both an excellent plastic surgeon and an attentive and caring person as well as his assistant, Melinda is. He goes above and beyond to help his patients before and after surgery. I highly recommend Dr Glafkides. He is the best!

I highly recommend Dr Glafkides! He is very professional. He is skilled artist! His work is exceptional! Besides being such an excellent surgeon his beside manner is wonderful and caring. He goes above and beyond to help his patients before and after surgery. His staff are just as warm and caring as he is. All the professionals he works with at the hospital have the utmost respect for him and now I know why. I could not have been happier with the outcome of my surgery.

Full disclosure, Dr. Glafkides is my neighbor. I severed 2 fingers in a tablesaw accident. After surgery with specialists in SF, I needed help changing bandages and no one in my immediate family could help. I texted Mike and he opened his office for me on a Saturday for immediate help. He changed my bandages flawlessly which is harder than it sounds with everything I had going on and Melinda offered warm and encouraging words as I left. I have great neighbors and friends and I can guarantee you can trust him and his staff for your needs as well!

I wouldn't dream of seeing anyone else! I had my first breast augmentation done by Dr. G when I was 20. I was scared to death to have them done since not a lot of people at that time had them. He ensured that I looked natural and didn't overdo it. After I saw him everyone loved his work and several friends and family went to him for different procedures. All of which were happy with his work. Fast forward 20 years and I finally came back to redo my breasts. Once again, he took great care of me and my breasts look amazing. He is always professional and happy. He took the time to explain to me the changes that have been made over the last 20 yrs to the implant bags and which one would be best for me. I highly recommend anyone thinking about doing a cosmetic procedure see him. I don't think there's anyone better!

Dr. Glafkides is a wonderful plastic surgeon that I would recommend without hesitation. I am absolutely thrilled with the results from my breast reduction. Dr. Glafkides listened to me at each visit, and provided a natural look that was the size we agreed upon. Both he and Melinda were available to answer all my questions at the appointments and in between. I never felt rushed or that I was inconveniencing them with additional questions or concerns. They are both kind, caring professionals - some of the nicest people you could meet. The surgery center was attentive as well, calling both before and after surgery to ensure all went well. Several people involved with the surgery also told me that I’d made a great choice with Dr. Glafkides as they have always seen excellent results from his surgeries.

Dr Glafkides and his team went above and beyond for me during my breast augmentation procedure. After meeting Dr Glafkides and feeling so confident in his skills as a surgeon, I wanted to schedule surgery as soon as possible. I had a consult appointment, a pre-op appointment and then surgery within 5.5 weeks. I came to Dr Glafkides’ office with a very strong idea of what I wanted based on the research I had done. Dr Glafkides listened to everything I said and guided me on how to achieve the look that I wanted. The surgery process was seamless. Dr Glafkides performed my surgery at an impeccable surgery center that has great anesthesiologists and nurses that looked after me. After my surgery, he frequently checked in on me and we had a number of post-op appointments to ensure everything was healing nicely. I am so happy with my results! I highly recommend Dr Glafkides and his team - they are the best.

There are not enough wonderful things to say about Dr. Glafkides and his staff! I am 4 weeks post surgery and already so happy with my results. During my first consultation, Dr. G was extremely welcoming, kind, attentive and professional. He answered all my questions and eased my mind of any concerns. He took extra time to make sure I was comfortable with the surgical plan and also that he had a good understanding of my end goals. At all of my office visits, my husband and I were warmly welcomed by Melinda, who always made us feel so comfortable and cared for. The office was beautiful, clean and always had a calming vibe. Dr. G was always prompt and I always left my visits feeling supported and confident in my decisions. During the procedure, Dr. G, the anesthesiologist and the entire nursing staff made my experience more smooth and enjoyable than I ever could have imagined. Dr. G would be my number one recommendation to anyone!

Dr. Michael Glafkides was the surgeon who performed my plastic surgery. His bedside manner was exceptional. He was very attentive to my needs and demonstrated he cared about my well being in providing explicit instructions pre surgery & attentive follow up within 24 hours of surgery. In preparation for the surgery, he took the time to address all questions and concerns. Dr. Glafkides models excellent communication skills by being an active listener, speaking clearly without medical jargon and providing a forum where I could ask questions without feeling I was imposing on his time. I could not be more satisfied with the surgical outcome. His work is meticulous and appears natural. I wish I had done this 10 years ago. His office team is also available and knowledgeable about the surgical plan and were helpful in answering questions related to charges and billing. I highly recommend Dr. Michael Glafkides for plastic surgery.
