My name is Jeffrey Fresnoza. I have been a patient of Dr. Paul Holland Sr since 1985. A longtime customer for more than 37 I am very pleased with Dr. Holland and his wonderful staff. The best customer service and professionalism throughout the years. I highly recommend using their services! Mila has been with Dr. Holland since I started seeing him and Mila is a great asset with her knowledge and expertise! Congratulations on a very successful Practice Dr. Holland!

I've been with Dr Paul R Holland since 80's when his office was located inside Macy's , the staffs are courteous efficient, awesome and friendly specially Mila. She helped me choose my glasses that fits me and the style that fits the shape of my face.

To Dr. Paul Holland and staff; particularly Joan: I am seeking A BRAND NEW OPTOMETRIST TO NOT ONLY CARE FOR MY VERY SPECIFIC VISION NEEDS BUT ALSO TRY TO ESTABLISH A VERY PROMINENT, PROFESSIONAL, ARTICULATE, CARING, DETAILED, SHARP, KIND, PATIENT, EFFICIENT, MINDFUL AND PROACTIVE FACILITY. I wanted Dr. Holland to be well informed that your staff absolutely WASTED my effort and time articulating and reiterating. I tried very patiently and cordially to address my vision concerns while Joan did nothing but ask questions of which I had informed her of. Perhaps documenting notes and confirming information would make life easier. I would not recommend.

UPDATE: 3 stars to 4 stars - 01/28/2021 I went back to Dr. Holland's office after difficulty with the glasses I ordered from EyeBuyDirect.com The staff was super friendly and willing to help. They looked up my prescription compared it with my current glasses and asked lots of questions to clarify what had happened with my order. it was discovered that when you buy on EyeBuyDirect, they give everyone a generic focal point and if that's no good for you, then you need customized lenses from an optometrist. They gave me my options and I will explore how to proceed. ORIGINAL REVIEW: 3 stars - 11/24/2020 I picked Dr. Holland's office because my health insurance suggested he was in network and the closest doctor around my home. On 11/24/2020, I went for my first visit. I only wanted a prescription, the staff and doctor were pleasant. Upon completion of my exam, I paid $50 to the manager herself. 10 minutes or so after departing, I received a call from her advising they'd have to charge another $100 for the professional fee as it is only discounted if I also purchase glasses from their office. This seems outrageous to me that the price would triple and the fact that it happened after leaving and at the end of the year made me very suspicious. Ultimately, make sure you get a quote for the exact services you intend to request.

Good doctors. Rude front desk staff. Tried to complain to an office- manager Mila- she replied “ if you don’t like us you can go to somewhere else “. Mila- I don’t come to see you, I come to see my doctor. Unbelievable rudeness.

Lens came out on one side they help me right away...definitely earned my business will be coming back for my regular Eyexam

I tried to make an appointment recently with Dr Holland. I was told the practice was sold to a location in Burlingame and that Dr Holland is no longer associated with the practice. Has anyone else heard about this? Anyone know where Dr Holland is, I really liked him and saw him for years. I was never notified that my doctor was leaving or that the office was closing.I used to go to the office on Southgate then I followed Dr Holland to the Junipero Serra location. Now - ? Where is everybody? Aren't doctors required by law to tell patients that they are closing their office? I think it's called patient abandonment.I would give Dr Holland a good score as a doctor but fir this overall situation, I have to give it one star - I have no doctor and I don't know where he went!

This is a review for Mila-an office manager, I found her to be very rude and dismissive. The ancillary personal speaks one language between themselves I cannot understand and not attentive to the customers. The reason I am going to this office is the optometrist I follow up with many years-Dr Brosnan, who is a good doctor and has great bedside manners. I hope the owners can read reviews and will address the issue. What a shame to have such " rude front end staff " they do not act as healthcare workers!

My family and I have been going to this practice for over 10+ years now. Dr. Holland, Dr. Brosnan and the entire staff are all wonderful. The office has a very friendly, family oriented feel not to mention, the selection of glasses and frames that they have available. We love going here and can't say enough about our experiences every time we go! If you are looking for a place for glasses and contacts and a great staff definitely go here!
