I took my 2-month-old daughter to see Dr. Kim to get her severe tongue tie evaluated and possibly clipped. Was hugely impressed by the whole operation. Easy online paperwork (better than having to fill it out in person), no wait at the office, and then Dr. Kim was incredibly thorough and thoughtful, in the questions she asked and the explanations she offered. We never felt pushed to do anything; Dr Kim just laid out all the facts in front of us and talked us through our options. When we decided to get the clipping done, Dr Kim and her staff moved with incredible speed and care. We were really dreading this procedure but are so glad we went through with it, and at this practice specifically! Highly recommend!

Great ENT! Immediately diagnosed my issue and was glad to answer all my questions. She made sure to clarify any details of my surgery and helped me feel comfortable about getting it. During my recovery, she called me back quickly to address my concerns.

great!!!!! I have been seeing Dr. Kim for over 10 years for meniere’s disease. She is thoughtful and thorough. I trust her judgment. Also she is a pleasure to talk to, and she has a dog.

Our 6 day old baby had a tight frenulum (tongue tie) and our pediatrician recommended we go to Dr Kim. We are so happy that we did!From setting up the initial appt, her office was so easy to work with. They send you all the paperwork in advance (electronically), so you just walk right in and don't have to spend ages filling out forms on clip boards.Dr Kim had us in and out of the office within 15min. She looked at our babies tongue and explained to us what would happen, and made sure we were comfortable with the procedure. She then had us leave the room, and within 4 minutes our baby was already asleep and had a fixed tongue!It was such a pleasant experience working with Dr. Kim. Would highly recommend her to any parents (or really anyone). She is professional, kind, and makes you feel at ease. Oh, and there is parking directly in the building which is a huge plus!

Dr Kim seems competent and caring. However, my visit with her was only about 4 minutes and the only chance I got to ask questions was while being walked to the front desk. This did not feel very private with about 10 people waiting in the waiting room. Her physical exam was very minimal, she did not give me any sort of diagnosis, and I left feeling confused and concerned that I had a much more serious issue than I did. I ended up seeing my dentist, who referred me to an oral surgeon, who immediately diagnosed my problem and confirmed it on the spot with a lower-radiation CT scan than I would have gotten through what would have been a long referral process. Depending on your issue, I'd recommend going to a oral surgeon first rather than dealing with the rushed, panic inducing atmosphere here.

Dr kim removed a lump from my neck and left a hideous scar that looks worse than the original lump. Im so depressed and disappointed

My son has been having chronic ear infections and seeing Dr. Kim since he was three. He is now six, and Dr. Kim has been amazing every step of the way. Despite ear pain and several ear tube surgeries, he is always excited to see his ENT... how many doctors can you say that about? At every appointment he has her undivided attention and she speaks more to him than to me - he knows she's taking him seriously, and it's fantastic - it's taken any drama or fear out of what has otherwise been a miserable experience for my little guy. Thank you, Dr. Kim, you're wonderful!

Within less than 5 minutes she identified and came up with 2 steps to Solutions to problems that have plagued me and impacted breathing for 15+years! I nearly cried with relief and gratitude in her office! Other Dr's just kept prescribing allergy nasal sprays that didn't address root causes, a Kaiser Dr did MRI and dismissed me a few years ago. After 15 wasted years I finally feel like recommended next steps will be very helpful! Only lacking a star because I question whether I have a third problem area with sinuses and she said first 2 will help sinuses so we'll see..

Dr. Kim recently performed an adenoidectomy on my young daughter at CPMC (the new Van Ness campus) and we had a fantastic experience. Dr. Kim had a great demeanor with my daughter -- calm, warm, engaging, talking to her about things she's interested in, etc. The surgery itself was quite fast and my daughter bounced back remarkably quickly, which I attribute to Dr. Kim, the anesthesiologist, and the great nurses at CPMC. I highly recommend Dr. Kim.
