Jeffrey Lander's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Lander performed a rather complicated Mohs procedure on my head on 2/14/2022, and really did an amazing job. I am so pleased. The staff and facility at Orange Coast Dermatology in RSM, CA were excellent and made me feel very comfortable during the lengthy procedure. Not only is Dr. Lander an excellent surgeon, but he is a very nice man. I rate him a 10 out of 10 in terms of his competency and professionalism.

THE VERY BEST! As a very fair person, I've had many skin cancers and seen my share of dermatologists, Dr Lander is, by far, the very VERY BEST! He has performed 2 very complicated MOHS procedures on my face and he is like an artist, and I am highly sensitive and a big baby! I only wish he would see me for my regular skin checks! If you're looking for a MOHS surgeon, go see Dr Lander!

This review is for PA Steven and assistant Amber. Before seeing them, I've visited other doctors for this skin issue I've been dealing with for a year. The doctors I've seen are useless compared to Steven, they prescribed me pills and creams that didn't work and they never even touched the problem.I visited Steven today assisted by Amber. They made me feel extremely comfortable and took care of me step by step. The skin issue I was dealing with for over a year they took care of it in 30 minutes. I felt no pain. I really can't appreciate what they have done for me and I won't hesitate to visit them in the future. If you have skin problems that you're unsure, embarrassed, and or hurting you. Please trust me and make an appointment with them. Thanks again for taking care of me.

Dr. Lander is very professional and honest. I went to 5 different dermatology offices for my rosacea. I highly recommend Dr. Lander. Super knowledgeable physician in Orange County . Thank you.

My husband and I were very favorably impressed with Dr. Lander in every way during our visit today. His professional demeanor, interests in our concerns, answers given to our numerous questions were all most satisfying. He effectively removed a basal cell carcinoma from my husband’s forehead from start to finish. We have complete confidence and faith in Dr. Lander, and feel fortunate and blessed that he performed the needed surgery.

Was calling as a first-time patient referred by a friend to make an appointment and receptionist was unbelievably rude. Will not be engaging any further with this practice. Can't imagine the patient experience if that first exploratory call was any indication.

Dr. Lander is a true professional; unequivocally the best surgeon (medical practitioner) I've encountered. Assuming there was a 6-star rating, he'd receive it. He exemplifies each of the qualities one searches for in a doctor: thorough, versed, pleasant, caring, and efficient. A Dr. Lander visit is truly the gold-standard in dermatological (medical) services.  I seldom extend medical references as there is little upside in doing so. However, after 10+ years of exceedingly positive interactions (including countless biopsies, five Mohs surgeries, numerous stitches, and a few staples), I can confidently state you'll be pleased by your experience with him. Though I'm likely the world's most obsessive and hard to please patient, I always leave happy and ready to evangelize how great my visit proved to be. Thus, I've now referred eight patients (including my wife, mom, and friends) and each have sincerely thanked me for doing so. Though it seems odd to write a review for a doctor, Dr. Lander deserves the accolades. He's a true master of his craft. It's worth noting the other team members at Beach Cities Dermatology Medical Center are great too. They've collectively made me and my referrals "totally satisfied patients."

Dr Lander is a personable man and wonderful surgeon specializing in Mohs surgery.  He operated on my lip in the Advanced Dermatology office in Dana Point for squamous cell carcinoma and the procedure was relatively painless and efficiently done.  He explained the process and answered all questions I had - and all of us in the waiting room - waiting on our various results- were duly impressed by both his abilities and his willingness to answer all our questions.  I recommend him highly...

Dr. Lander is awesome. He is a very skilled dermatologist, with a wonderful "bedside" personality. He has treated both me and my wife over the past ten years. I never get the sense that he is rushed. He always explains treatment options, and leaves up to the patient to decides which course to take. I like the fact that he also specializes in the Moh's procedure and has a thorough academic background (PhD) in addition to being an MD.
