Nurse took vitals, tested me for flu and strep then left me in the room for an hour. Doctor came in, hadn't read the vitals and tried to retest me. Prescribed medicine and called it in to some random CVS 10 miles away after I asked twice it be called in next door. Had to wait another 45 mins to get the mix up fixed. Not a great experience.
Had a losing fight with a chefs knife. I was out in about an hour with stitches and a prescription for antibiotics. I paid cash and it was extremely reasonably priced.
JUST A LITTLE THNG! but I could not hear in my right ear. I swim frequently and have never had a problem, so I called the Walk-in-Clinic and she said pleasantly, "I think we can help you". And yes they did, 30 minutes later I walked out, no referrals, little waiting time and friendly staff and I could hear equally well out of both ears. Avoided a $3500 hearing aid bill!
I just spoke with Nick at Blackhawk Medical clinic. He was so helpful and willing to search through both record systems for vaccines I received in the past. He offered to do some digging. At first I said "no thank you/you don't have to do that/that's OK." He was extremely patient with me and a delight on the phone. I have been coming to Blackhawk Medical Group for many many years 20+. The office staff has always been terrific. And of course, I stand by all the doctors, PA's, and NP's.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
