Dr, Pinilla gives very thorough eye exams. If there's a problem, she explains it in lay person's terms and discusses treatment options. I have 100% confidence in her medical care and decisions. Sometimes she runs a bit late. However, I do not mind, because I know that when it is my turn, she will take her time checking my eyes and doing whatever is necessary. She NEVER rushes through my exams or questions. Staff is very good; always professional and helpful.

Dr. Pinilla is a Great Doctor, through and caring. She explains procedures and listens. The office is welcoming and the wait is very short. Doesn't overbook.I highly recommend.

Dr. Pinilla is the best. She is to the point and you can tell she is highly educated. She helped diagnose my daughter's eye disease and you can tell she cares a lot about her patients. She gave us her personal cellphone number and was there every step of the way to ease our concerns and help get appointments with other doctors.

Dr. Pinilla is an excellent doctor. She is very thorough, very patient, very comforting, and very friendly. Absolutely five stars.

I should of written this review 10 years ago when I had my first procedure. Recently I once again was able to see a very gifted surgeon perform a procedure on me. It is very important to me that the doctor takes away a lot of my worries. Dr Pinilla is outstanding.

I apologize for not writing this review sooner. 9 years ago Dr. Pinilla removed the cataracts from both eyes and installed Toric lenses to improve my vision. The results were AMAZING! Colors were like I never experienced before, SHARP,BRILLANT and BEAUTIFUL. I also ended up with 20/20 vision. It was the first time in 55 years that I didn't need glasses. Prior to surgery, I no longer could safely drive at night; I couldn't read books for lengthy time; in fact , I couldn't read any of the letters on the eye cart including the big E on top. Now some nine years later I still have 20/20 vision. I still don't need glasses and can drive safely at night. Dr. Pinilla, thank you. YOU'RE THE BEST!

Dr. P was rude, insulting and angry when I came to her requesting a 2nd opinion following an eye surgery by another doctor. I told her I liked that doctor very much, but was wondering if maybe something was not quite right. My insurance provider had authorized this visit. After Dr. P reviewed my chart information (making positive comments to herself} she quickly looked at my eye, then said "I was wasting her time, I was 65 yrs old, I couldn't expect perfect vision" and ridiculed my actual vision symptoms that I did not think should be normal for this surgery. Dr. P said twice I was "idiotic" for coming; she was going to "write a note and call my surgeon to tell him I came to her" and said "I was 65 yrs old and all I needed would be glasses". During the short exam, however, I didn't think she looked at the actual surgery site behind the eye without administering eye drops. I was shocked with her unprofessional threatening abusive language and unwarranted insulting attitude with no explanation for her anger other than: my age. I did not challenge or argue with her, I spoke kindly to her, and when leaving the check out desk she turned her back to me without a "goodbye". Well, I had decided half way through this horrific office visit that: "when I get out of this chair and out the door, I will never ever come back."

Dr. Pinilla is a shining example of how all doctors should be. She is articulate, thorough, puts one at ease, and is as nice as could be. I wish that all my doctors were like Dr. Pinilla.

Cataract removal from both eyes, weeks apart, went smoothly. Preparation, brief surgery, and follow up were excellent. This Dr's quiet confidence in her skills are reflected in my trust in her capabilities. Dr Panilla took the worry out of anticipating the surgery. My multi-focus interocular lenses are amazing. I am glasses free for first time since age 7.

Had a very nice eye appointment. The optometrist is the nicest Dr. He explains things so well and extremely kind. Dr. Pinilla is also wonderful. Been coming here for over 5 years. Very caring office. Highly recommend them. The only thing is scheduling. My best day is Friday afternoon but for the most part that is not a good time for the Dr. So most of the time I have to take off time from work.
