She is never on the side of the patient, and always tries to keep insurance costs down for HMO plans, she delayed a required surgery for 2 years, finally we had to move to a PPO plan to get the surgery done. She also refers to doctors who are 20-30 miles away even though there are plenty of specialists in sutter right across the street, all to keep insurance costs down.

If you are looking for a doctor who cares about what you are coming in for, look somewhere else. She is rude, talks down to you, will treat you like an idiot and not address your concerns. Never going back. The office staff is nice. Shame they have to work for her.

Condescending. Spoke to my as if I were a child. Treated me as if I were stupid. I don't lack intelligence and am very well versed in my disease. Unwilling to help, and did not seem to want to listen, despite my multiple attempts at bringing up the issue I went there for. In contrast, Dr. Ray was extremely well versed, professional, kind, lots of empathy and understanding as well as extremely sharp. I will not be going back to see Dr. Horta again.

Dr. Horta and her staff are a FENOMENAL group of people. They are respectful, professional, and very carrying.

Only went to this place because i found it on Groupon. I did the Gender Glimpse. You get what you paid for thats for sure. The ultrasound was quick, and i am not sure if seeing the gender was accurate. The visit was probably less than 5 minutes. I will have to go do a second opinion on this one.
