List of Meghan Brady Zavod's Reviews
She is amazing. She is a caring doctor and very thorough.
Dr. Zavod is an excellent dermatologist. She cares about her patients and is always patient and thoughtful. I have only had positive experiences with her or her staff. The other reviews that complain about Sutter or wait times are not about this physician. She is great.
After more than 10 years in her care, I highly recommend Dr. Zavod. She is knowledgeable with professional kindness-a wonderful person and physician.
This isn't only a one star review because of Dr. Zavod, but also because of the entire Sutter Health Insurance Plan system. Maybe even western medicine in general. Maybe also just bad service. I didn't even get to see Dr. Zavod, so who knows, all I know is I wasn't treated right. And I haven't been by this healthcare system for some time now. I live in the Arden Arcade area of Sacramento. For whatever reason, Sutter Health assigned me to a primary care doctor in Davis. Probably because I requested a female physician. And for whatever reason, because my primary care is in Davis, all referrals send me to Davis. I even called and asked them to change it. I called Sutter Health, I called the primary care, and no one would help me. So I got an appointment for 8 am to be somewhere that takes anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes for me to get there. And I went. And I had never been there, and there was a horrible accident, and I got lost in the parking lot, and though I managed to leave my house at 7:10, I did not show up to my appointment till 8:07. I got a dirty look from the receptionist. She didn't communicate to me what was happening. She only told me I was late and then walked away. She came back and then said they could see me but it would be after they saw the people that were already there. I was sitting with one person there, so I thought, no big deal. But that person went in, and then other people showed up, and then they went in, and others too, and come to find, what they meant was, "Sit here, maybe someone won't show up to their appointment and then you can have theirs." At 8:50 I asked what was up and was told, "there is still at least one other person in front of you" and announced "I have to go to work you guys" and I left. Because I work in Roseville and was already going to be late. Because I'd already waited 4 months for this appointment. Because they were rude at the desk and unhelpful. Because I pay crazy insurance premiums every month and think that I should be treated like a customer. Because I feel like DOCTORS ARE SUPPOSED TO HELP PEOPLE, and work with us, because god knows we are paying for them. If I am 5 minutes late to an appointment, know it's not because I didn't want to be there, it's because stuff happens. It's because we have jobs, and commutes, and it wasn't easy for me to even make this appointment happen but I made it within 10 minutes of it's start time. If you've ever worked a front desk, part of your job is problem solving and figuring out how to make it work for people when it's important enough to do so. I wasn't asking for much more than a little work around. I mean, did she really only plan on spending 10 minutes with me? Is that how back to back those appointments are scheduled? How bout let's skip the weigh in and I'll just pull up my shirt and show you the creature I'm referring to? Common sense? And if anyone had worked with me, or cared about my schedule, or asked me how long I could wait, or even gave me an understanding look of "I know it's a maze in here" or recognized I was coming for possible cancer and not some cosmetic acne issue, I would've probably at least given a few stars. Hell, I probably wouldn't be so irate that I had to come yelp about it.
Dr Zavod has treated my mom for many years. Always shows great care and concern. Now I’m a patient also and really like her care and expertise
Only come here if it's not important and you can book an appointment 3 months out. Face falling off, possible cancer, rash out of control, don't bother they won't care and won't see you no exceptions not even if you wait in their lobby all day.
Ive seen Dr. Zavod for several skin issues. She is professional and personable.
Would not recommend.
failed me as a doctor. ran some tests that came back negative. did not offer treatment plan without a follow up. why am I paying for a follow up on no care? makes no sense.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
