I gave birth at sutter and loved pur experience. In order to keep the same pediatric doctor that was with out boy at the nursery, we keep and drive to appointments 45 mins away. Every single day we are on time for our appointments but end up waiting an hour to be called back, last time I waited 2 1/2hours!!!! But i keep it because Dr.Jilk is an amazing doctor. I have had multiple problems with the scheduling staff. So I go to my appointment but am running 10mins late so i try multiple times to call and let them know, Ofcourse their phone line is busy and no one picks up. After waiting 20 mins they tell us they need to reschedule because we are late. Not to mentor our son is having surgery in 2 months so it is important we keep the same pediatrician that knows our situation. She goes back and forth multiple times saying he can see us now, then he cant and we have to wait 2 hrs, then he cant do that we have to reschedule for another day. We finally reschedule and shes rude telling us if we need a schedule card so we dont forget again or so we can “come on time this time” it doesnt sound bad but you know it is the way she said it now what she said. I hate that we have to stay here till after surgery because at this point I cant deal with their staff at all. Dr jilk is an amazing doctor and I wish more than anything to stay with him but it is seeming like at what cost. Edit: i did get a call with them trying to reconcile what happened and I appreciate that. She said she talked with all the staff yesterday about my review including the doctor which makes me wonder how they will treat me now. I hope things become better instead of bitter. I will update again seeing depending how our next appointment goes :/
I never thought I'd write a positive review within the context of a difficult and traumatic part of my life... but I want to give a huuuge shoutout to ER Techs Michael and Desmond at the Sutter Davis Emergency Room. Michael is very attentive and anticipated my needs to ensure I felt comfortable during my stay. He is also a wonderful conversationalist and has an impeccable sense of humor. Desmond is very upbeat and lightened the mood with his goofy personality during an otherwise depressing situation. He made sure my visitor friends and I were all nice and situated and even participated in our fun little shenanigans. If you ever cross paths with either one of these gentlemen, you can be rest assured that you're in great hands. I was very lucky to have been under their care during my time in the ER.
I came here to bring my patient an she have so much pain. And she ask 4 people's here a help for her pain they been lied an tell her we talked to the dr already an he said to wait. And they looking for room an 3 people just come an go an get a room before my patient is okay if ist no pain but was really bad level of her toothache is 10 so She ask the receptionist and she said go to the back you not allowed to be there because of the other person privacy's is all good, understandable but the way she keep telling a 90yrs lady in a mean an loud voice I try so hard to ignore how she treats her but She keep ignoring her asking for help for her pain an if she lets my patient talks while she's trying to epress her feelings about the levels of her pain but she treats her like an animals she needs to have a professional help, an training, I'm a CNA an I been working as a caregiver for 23years even how hard it is I been kind an love my patients treating them like my own blood, But being so mean as cold hearted digger oh no I'm killing myself easy an lucky I was so patience enouyto deal with this ugliness of this staff I call I need help they look at me an walk away, really?? I was like did your parents show you Kindness an loving an treats people's the way how you want's to be treated?? Ridiculous staff an so mean an lucky there's a camera all over or otherwise they'll hurt's the people's Fr Fr. The Dr Is Nice But the wait is longer than his visits But he was so kind to us than the Staff!!
I been here with my patient an at least tell the truth but the receptionist lady was shift right now 8:06pm 09/30/2023. She is so mean at least let's my patient know she'll find a way to help her pain she is 90 Year's old an she have so much pain 10 the most, an she keep telling my patient to go to the waiting room, No that's not the way you needs to give a comfort but not thinking you work in the office an u own the world you a so mean as hell. You have no hearts at all but colds hearted wow. Please train your staff to be kind's enough so the world's can have the peace instead thinking you better, nah you not the best reception an ugly manners to Eldest peoples stop an go home an ask the Lord's to help you to be more kindness an be a great customer service an stop lieng is no room no there is a room because you put peoples just come in, to a room also is not busy here at all. My goodness what's kinda of a people they're so mean no needs to bring your mean an so rudes to work an stop thinking u better than other's stop an Be kind!!So this place where you go look for help an no sympathy at all. I work as a caregiver for 23years I deal with memory care. And is hard than your job. All you do is tell her nicely let's me talk to someone's to help your pain an gets u a room when is open. But don't yell an push her away an tell her lies along with some staff keep ignoring her asking for help because her pains is really bad. Learn to be kind's an treats peoples the way you wants to be treated as yourself.
Very attentive and kind staff, long waits in ER but it is clear everyone is trying their absolute best
I have Pers Gold Blueshield PPO through the state and they basically said we dont participate in that plan and cancelled my scheduled appointment. PPO is an open network plan, and I have already used it in other places and seen other Sutter locations using the same plan, even the insurance said it was valid. I honestly think that whoever is handling finance does not understand what to claim
This now the 3rd time I am doing this because my review was taken down the last two times. Sutter Davis ER is the worst ER I have ever been to. The staff is rude, unprofessional and are bullies. When I walked in two girls working the front looked up at me looked at each other and then both gave me dirty looks. They came off as immature mean girls that still have high school mentality. I waited over an hour to be called for my vitals to be checked that never happened 45mins into my wait a couple came in who apparently thought that were priority over everyone there the husband after only 5 mins of being there started to be pushy and say his wife in pain. I was in severe pain myself but that staff accommodated them while other people such as elders and children were waiting a long time just to have their vitals checked. When I asked the staff why is it that she is being seeing their response was she's in pain. Okay I'm in pain too severe pain intact I had noted on that paper. The nurses were extremely rude and racist, clearly there's a reason why they let that woman go in front of everyone that's been waiting for over an hour to be seen. And I do understand the priority system but there was people that had way more going on then her that they made wait. I decided to leave because at this point the staff is incredibly rude and unprofessional. When I called to speak to the charge nurse who is also extremely rude and unprofessional, would not let me get a word in in fact he yelled at me and I asked him can I speak? And his response was NOPE. Then I said you are a nurse do you.... Click! The charge nurse hung up on me! I was going to ask if he had any compassion for people but clearly hanging up on me he did not. When you have people like that I charge poorly unprofessional people in charge you end up having a poorly unprofessional staff. This ER staff has has disgusting attitude towards patients and is extremely rude. I ended up at downtown Sutter Sacramento and that ER was so much better and the staff was kind and caring and way busier then Sutter Davis but still makes sure everyone is cared for. I will be filling a complaint with the patient relations department. Yelling and hanging up on a patient is not something someone should get away with. That charge nurse didn't even care to hear my side and try to resolve the issue. But explains why the staff is the way they are.
literally the worst experience. I come in with chest pain and head ache, so guess what they do. electrodes and chess scan for the chest and just some tylenol for the head ache. head ache is gone so now there's just the chest pain, and what do they do. Give me some medicine and check up on me after 40 minutes. All because of some bullshit about my nerves being confused and that the pain I feel in my chest is really coming from my stomach. Then when they ask me if the pain is gone I utter the words "a little bit". Next time the nurse shows up she has the discharge papers in her hand and sends me out. I literally feel the same coming out of the hospital as I did going into the hospital.
Came to the ER for my boyfriend yesterday, as he was experiencing a fever of over 102, chills, and headaches for several days. After being seen, we were only prescribed nausea medicine, however completely disregarded his fever and heart rate of over 120! Not to mention, giving him a hard time about his MediCAL for over 30 minutes, clearly showing how greedy they are, instead of doing their job. My partner was clearly dehydrated and lethargic, but after requesting an IV fluid, we were denied and told by a really rude blonde nurse that "if the doctor says it isn't necessary then, it isn't" and that every facility is "different." Today, it was shown how "different" it really is after going to the Kaiser ER in Sacramento and being given an IV fluid almost IMMEDIATELY. It is really sad to see how discriminatory they are against their patients to deny us the treatments we need. Not surprising for it being YOLO county. Never coming here again. If you want to go somewhere, where you actually feel cared for, go to Kaiser!
I delivered two babies at this birthing center going into the ER. Yesterday I fell at a grocery store because there was water all over the produce section where I was standing. After I wrote the incident report the assistant manager told me that the manager knew this was an issue and doesn't understand why she didn't fix it. At this hospital I was treated like a liar. It started with the super arrogant intake staff, I think she was Latina and she takes you in rhe office to the left of the lobby. The doctor didn't even touch my neck and back. He decided two sprained wrists with braces was enough for him. I have to go back or to another hospital now for my neck and back....and pinky toe because after being treated like a liar I just wanted to go home. Terrible people. 6/13/23 8pm.
