Dr Rathbun shows patience when looking for the unknown. As I age there is so much more to diagnose. I trust his intellect and appreciate the care he shows me. He has never let me down after 20+yrs.

The best of the best! Consider yourself lucky if you get to be apart of his personal family practice in a big city like San Diego. His office always feels like home, he truly cares and takes care of all 3 of my kids with gentle care and compassion. I can never move because I will never find a better family doctor. All of my children’s have RSV right now and we just went in for an appointment he was able to make for us with one day notice and treat each individual child. Met all of our concerns and we left feeling so much more reassured then when we got there. Incredible team with extremely quick response time on follow my health. Never any concerns for communication or not being able to reach my doctor.

Dr. Rathbun never rushes you out and takes the time needed to make sure you’re satisfied with a solution. He’s not one of those docs that come into the room with a generic redi-made answer. I’ve gone through some very complex injuries with him, everything from ankle reconstruction to a fractured spine to traumatic brain injury and he’s always been there to help navigate the system and find a solution that fits your lifestyle and needs. My teenage kids also see him and say that he addresses their very different issues the same way. Dude rules!
