Voice messages left, no response. No follow up on my blood work results. Don’t get the same feeling of “care” as I have with other doctor offices.
Voice message no reply, hang up on my phone calls after picked it up, no follow-up instructions regarding test results, needs reminder to refill prescription. Not sure if it’s the doctor or the office. I had no problem contacting my kids’ pediatrician at the same location though.
I moved to the Diamond Bar area last year and looked to establish care with Dr. Lee. I would say that I was very dissatisfied with the whole experience and have since moved on to another doctor for my Primary Care needs. Over a period of about six months I saw Dr. Lee about 4-5 times. Of the many issues that I had with his office, below are a few: 1. When trying to bring in records from my previous physicians office, I was often met with the office staff constantly trying to get me to leave and take care of the matter over the phone. However, when I previously spoke with the doctor and called in on the phone, I was told to bring in signed release forms into the office in person. The actual people at the desk would not hear out my reason for being there with paper in hand. 2. Calling in to make an appointment or to even ask a question requires an extremely long wait time (45-55min) and multiple call transfers. Why is there no direct line into the office? 3. When I addressed the doctor regarding contacting the office he told me that I should feel free to use the messaging system through mychart and that someone would respond to me in less than 48 hours. Although some of the responses were within that time frame, many took as much as a week to get a incomplete response. My messages were often marked, "seen" within 24 hours and actual response would be many days later. Of course none of these were emergencies. But it would be helpful to have a doctors helpline even after hours. Like many other offices do. 4. When the doctor did reach out to me by phone it would be from a blocked number which (in this day and age is silenced from smartphones) and a message would be left to call the office number and I would have to wait an inordinate amount of time to get through. As mentioned in point #2 above. 5. I suffer from several chronic conditions and Dr. Lee would have very little explanation as to his comments towards my lab work but simply nod impatiently as I would explain the issues that I was experiencing. Often with a response of my descriptions being, "odd", "peculiar", "particular" and "unusual". Which did lead to referral to different specialists. However, did not leave a good impression on me as someone I can confide in and rely on for my medical needs. I have since found another doctor who's office is readily accessible by phone, very organized in processing paperwork/medical history, and very clear in guiding me to make educated decisions with my medical conditions within reasonable amounts of time and in a professional manner.
Best Doctor I ever had! Thorough diagnosis and treatment of my recent elevated blood pressure. Dr. Lee gives solid, grounded advice and he stays up-to-date on the latest medical trends. Excellent bed side manner as well. The entire medical staff at St. Jude Heritage Medical Group go out of their way to make you feel like you're getting the best of care.
Wow, one of the worst experiences I had with any medical providers. If I could give a zero stars, I would have. There is absolutely no follow ups. I had my blood work done almost 2 months ago at St. Jude Medical Center in Diamond Bar and tried to get test results. I left 3 messages to Dr. Lee on their App, left 2 phone messages, one with receptionist and another on their voicemail but did not receive a return call or a reply. Terrible service. I would never go back to this office again.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
