List of Lauren Tran's Reviews
I sometimes have shortness of breath and irregular heart beat, urgent care physician found heart murmur and suggest me for a more detailed check up. Making appointment with Dr Tran is very hard, 1st time her receptionist told me next appointment is almost 1.5 month later but I can do a virtual appt which I described my situation and she said I could do the virtual meeting because Dr. can order tests for me and have me go in just for the test later. Finally met with the doctor online, she said NO, there's nothing she can do unless she see me in person, so there goes my copay for nothing. Okay, and another 1.5 month for the in office appointment. Finally it's the in office appointment, I waited 40 mins in the room for the doctor. She came in and said " how come you didn't get your blood test??", Uhh no one tells me to go and I did not receive any mail paper work or call from her office.?!?! Than, I address my concern regarding my heart and would like to have a referral to see a cardiologist, she listen to it and simple tell me I'm fine and I should exercise and start telling me how she always find time to exercise... Well, I understand it is important to exercise and it's good for my body, but how can you determine my heart is fine after listen to it for less than 1 min when I told you it happens only about once a week or every other week? But anyways, after 2 appointment and the wait of over 3 months, she want me to get my lab test done, than schedule another appointment before she decide if she will actually refer me to a cardiologist. It just wasted too much of my time so I'm not sure if I want to go back.
My experience was pretty bad. She was rude and unfriendly, and didn’t seem to care much. I had to ask questions to get more info, and she barely even answered them; most answers were vague or made it seem like she didn’t know the answer. Plus, once the appointment was done, she basically just left the room without letting me know it was done so I was left there confused for a little. Very unprofessional.
Dr. Tran is my new primary treating physician. I am very happy thus far with her service. I think she is a great listener and seems to care very much about her patients.
Dr. Tran has no idea the wrong decisions she made had caused so much pain. She should be confronted by her office manager for the pain she caused. No return calls after causing pain, this makes her a very bad doctor. No compassion nor care for her patient, maybe she needs help to learn how to care and give compassion. There are many good doctors at St. Jude - warning "don't pick her".
I waited 3 months to get an appointment with Dr. Tran, and during my first visit with her she barely made eye contact, didn't answer any questions, and was not thorough during the physical (which she conducted while I was lying down as she was trying to do a PAP smear at the same time). She also kicked my shoes off. I told her I wanted to get a referral to a nutritionist and gave her a detailed explanation for it, and she smiled and continued to work on the computer. I am from a family of physicians, and I was very disappointed to see that this doctor had such terrible bedside manner, and was providing service that was not even average. She may have had excellent reviews in the past (which is why I initially chose her), but stay away if you can, because she has a nasty attitude and doesn't care about patients.
Dr Tran is very thorough and personable. I was glad she was recommended by a friend. For some reason she is often on vacation, illness in her family was referred to? Denette Munchel, PA for Dr Tran; I will find another Dr before I’d see her again.
I don't understand why this doctors team has 5 stars. We have been trying since July to get an appointment to see Dr. Tran for my 95 yr old mother in law. The next appointment available is in December that's too long of a wait. She got sick and we need to speak to someone to get a referral for authorization for another doctor. So far we have been hung up on, put on hold several times and left several messages and never got a call back.
I love my doctor she's great lorrLorr
Dr Lauren Tran is a careless, unprofessional doctor I have ever seen in my entire life. I Never and never want go to see her again.
Very unprofessional person. Not much knowledge and have a very cold attitude.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
