List of Providence Health & Services's Reviews
We have waited for more than an hour now and still waiting. The delay is almost all the time.
My experience is with Dr. Lauren Tran and Dr. Alejo. Dr. Alejo refused to listen to my concerns regarding my sons health and essentially dismissed it as an attitude problem. The child is 2. Way off base.I had to make an appointment with Dr. Lauren Tran to be referred to another Dr. She would not give me a referral because she claimed she could handle the situation herself. My health changed and I called again for the referral. Waited a week for my appointment. She was an hour late for a telehealth appointment. I had to go to her office for lab work to confirm I needed the referral. Ladies at the office were typical of all Dr's offices: generally lazy and incompetent. I waited for a test. Had one test. Waited for another test. Lady told me I was done. I told her no, I need another test. Lady had to check with the Dr. Waited some more. Yes, you need another test. Wait over here. Etc etc so ridiculuous.
Everyone is very helpful and very educated and knowledgeable and very respective of their clients great work by doctors and nurses and clerical workers thanks for all your help
Trying to get in touch with my Dr.'s office and for the life of me they are "not available" to answer their phone. My husband is currently there and due to the fact he's silenced his phone I cannot reach him. How can any office, especially a doctor's office not answer their phone. All you can do is leave a message and they will return your calls at their earliest convenience. That could be in hours and I need him now! This is ridiculous. I am seriously considering changing to another provider.
I went to Dr Starr for annual physical checkup. He missed to order my A1C test even after telling him that I'm borderline diabetic, my family history has diabetes, last doctor in his office (Dr. Koffmann) has done A1C and the fact that I'm fasting for last 12 hours. Further the test is paid by my insurance along with other blood work. 2 days later the nurse calls me and forces me for followup visit where he'll order A1C test and discuss other results. I ask to correct the mistake and issue A1C test order as part of annual checkup. Then after the A1C results are in I can schedule a checkup to discuss all results. But NO..she tells me "so you're declining the followup visit". I said NO, I'm NOT; first correct your mistake and then schedule a followup visit so that i don't have to pay co-pay twice. After Dr. Koffmann retired, I stopped going here. Took the chance on Dr. Starr. Apparently that was a mistake. This place has gone down in providing quality health care over years. Time to look for another medical clinic..uhh!!!!
Cattle call appointment. I received a call from Denette Munchel office asking me if I would like to come in for an appt since I haven't been in for awhile. So I agreed and made the appt for a physical. They kept me waiting 1 1/2hours naked with a paper blanket. I had fasted just in case I needed lab work. No one told me to go to the lab. They did tell me to go for xrays right past the lab. I gave X-ray all the papers the doc gave me he didn't tell me to go to the lab. I made an appt for a follow up visit for my X-ray results he didn't tell me the doctor had ordered lab work. It wasn't till I got home that I noticed in all the paperwork that said order requisition CBC, CMP, HGBA1C, LIPIDD and TSH and another paper for UATCX. I called the office about this, and it is all LAB WORK!I felt that I was just used to get a body in the office $$$ they were just making up for all appt lost during the Corona Pandemic.
St. Jude Heritage Medical Group in Diamond Bar, CA has been the best organized and staffed, and the most caring of any medical practice I have ever been with. The office staff, nurses, and doctor for my primary care have always treated me with kindness and respect. They have taken care to learn of the medical issues I made the appt for, and to treat those symptoms. (I have had less than that other places.)Dr. Rhodes is my primary care doctor. I have never seen a doctor who spent more time listening to my concerns, asking clarifying questions, and helping me find resolution to the symptoms I was concerned about. My experience other places is that they have a preconceived notion of what is probably wrong and act on that, rather than working with me, like Dr. Rhodes and his staff do.I am SO HAPPY to have found this doctor's office. The other services such as Xray, mammography, bloodwork and more are all also organized and staffed by kindly professionals. This office works very well with the hospital in Fullerton and all the referral medical services with which they are associated. Finding a doctor's office where you feel comfortable and respected can be difficult. This is the one.
Horrible treatment from Dr Castro. She has misdiagnosed my mother on multiple occasions. She does not listen to my mother or me when we try to explain what is going on. Disgusting and disturbing bed-side manner. I have never witnessed such treatment from a professional. Then accuses me of abuse and neglect of my mother. The medical assistants and front desk workers are completely cold and unhelpful as I push my mother in a wheelchair and she asked for an ice pack and never got it my mother tried to show her the area that was hurting and she completely ignored and disregarded her. Shameful behavior!!!
Really terrible service, the blood work done for my mom left a huge bruise on her left and arm and the nurse/doctor were very inattentive.
What happened? Absolutely terrible. Most expensive insurance out there with the worst service. If I could give them a zeroI would.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
