List of Paul Yoshino's Reviews
This is the worst doctor for women. He dismissed, belittled, and fat shamed me. He said my ekg reading was abnormal because I have a large chest! I’m a 36D! Also, my appointment was at 8am and he didn’t see me until 9:30! The only good thing is he did order more tests, but I don’t even want to go back to him to get the results.
Total waste of time. My third appointment at this office, first time seeing Dr Paul Yoshino. 55 minutes after my appointment time he comes in asks me why I'm there. I explain it's a follow up after seeing a PA and having an extended monitoring. In a fairly belligerent or accusing manner tells me he hasn't got a record of the original issue so as far as he knows there is no issue and he isn't going to change my meds. I was confused, asked if that was something I was supposed to bring since it was my third visit but the first mention of a missing record. He had the staff request it, and thinks I'm coming back to see him in another month. Surprise, Dr Paul Yoshino, I've seen the last of you! He also mentioned that I do not need a pacemaker, in the same accusing manner as if I somehow just really wanted one, though any need for one had never been brought up at any time. The visit summary is entirely focused on my diagnosis of obesity, with a BMI of 29.3 which he did not mention at any point in the appointment, though he noted that he advised me regarding weight loss, exercise and a heart healthy diet. Again, total waste of time, I will find someone else to see.
I’m pretty sure Dr Yoshino thinks the pecking order of life is: 1 Jesus Christ 2 Dr Yoshino Or maybe reversed. Might be a great doctor, but I’ll never know. I refuse to let my dad be seen by him again. Do they teach bedside etiquette at Duke? Maybe he should get a book on common courtesy and humility before he sees another patient.
After an affib episode was on a heart monitor under Yoshino's supervision. On my third visit to the office I saw him for the first time. He demanded to know why I was there. I tried to catch him up (even though it was right in front of him). He said since he was missing the record of the original EKG as far as he knew nothing had happened. No one had mentioned any missing record in the first two visits and he had my records from the start. He continued in a fairly belligerent tone, told me he isn't changing my meds and isn't giving me a pacemaker, neither of which had ever been discussed. To top it off, I read my visit summary where he wrote that the appointment was a follow-up for a diagnosis of obesity, the first ever mention of it. I'm actually considering reporting him to the medical board, and I certainly won't be seeing him again.
I have been seeing Dr Yoshino for many years and the reviews posted are not accurate. He takes the time to explain everything. He does expect his patients to take responsibility for their care. He wants his patients to know their medications . He is an excellent cardiologist in a busy practice.
Cardiologist who takes the time to discuss my diagnosis Explains to me what is his treatment plan I highly recommend
I was very please with Dr Yoshino. He explained everything in laymans terms so I understood what was going on with my heart. Ordered testing which was easy to schedule and within my work schedule. Office personal were polite and curtious.during my enteraction with them. After getting results from the tests run, Dr Yoshino again explained my options. I am very happy with him as a physician. No complaints.....
He is one of the worst Dr's I have ever seen he's a rude, condescending, snob does not want to answer question's seemed annoyed from me the second he plopped down in the chair let out a deep dramatic breath barked out why are you hear and rolled his eyes after I started to say why. Go to someone else he's a horrible Dr one star is too many he deserves none
Rude, miserable man after telling me o had a abnormality on my ekg I asked what does that mean his response was are you a expert at reading ekg's?! Horrible Dr/person never once said hi nice to meet you just plopped himself down and barked out why are you here?! Made his way to the top of the 3 worst Dr's I've ever seen, see someone else who has a bedside manner especially when dealing with something like heart issues
See someone else, he is a miserable mean man horrible impatient "Dr"

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
