I was crippled in a serious motorcycle accident it left me barely able to walk and in constant unrelenting pain. I Dr. Baumgarten gave me two complete knee replacements and has treated me for 21 years. I'm sure he's the best doctor on the planet. The surgery was perfect and the recovery was great. He's such a concerned and caring doctor he even came to check on me in the hospital on Thanksgiving morning. For the first time in years I am completely pain-free and I walk without even a limp, taking my dogs daily on 2 mile walks. At 68 I ride my motorcycle everywhere something I never thought I would do again. He truly gave me back my life. His staff is wonderful and so caring also he is absolutely the best orthopedic surgeon you can get. Delon Froton.

I saw Dr. Baumgarten yesterday. I was in terrible pain, and was sure I'd go to the emergency room after my visit. Dr. Baumgarten took time to listen to me, was very kind and empathetic. A very affable man indeed. He told me he would take care of me. He ordered medications to releive the pain and spasms. I am having a rough morning today, but I know it takes time to heal. I was extremely impressed with this doctor and his kindness. He wants me to return in 10 days to follow up on my care. What a gem to find him here in Duarte. I highly recommend this doctor!

My Family doctor set me up with Dr Baumgarten and I couldn't be happier.He a great guy and so talented. I ended getting surgery for a torn meniscus four weeks ago and it was a great success.

I cannot believe I have not put a recommendation here for Dr. Mo - I broke both 5th metatarsals. I went to one guy who put a screw in my foot and I felt pain FOREVER. I could feel the screw coming out of my foot. I didn't go back to that man. I was referred to Dr. Mo by SO MANY PEOPLE. I went and he said we should take the screw out and put me in a walking boot for 3 months. About a year later, I broke the OTHER left metatarsal. He said "either way there is 50/50 it will heal even with surgery. He put me in another walking boot (which was great cause all my left shoes were already worn down so I could use the right ones! Not only did he NOT recommend surgery I would not need, but then once at my son's high school he broke BOTH his arms at the same time doing "Back running". As I picked him up from school I immediately called Dr. Mo. They said "He's in surgery right now" ... I said "WHERE"??? They told me Arcadia Methodist so I said please call them, I'm driving him to the emergency room right now. Without a heartbeat he met us in the lobby and reset both of my son's arms. Cast him up and 5-6 weeks later he was done. He doesn't have any pain and never had to go back, see anyone else. I also have a great back surgeon who has a great practice, but for LIMBS... nowhere to go but Dr. Mo. He is amazingly funny, totally truthful. Anyone that left 1 stars are just are having a bad freaking day. I've heard NOTHING but positive reviews from everyone in the medical community. This guy is THE BEST.

He showed me some old person's knee xrays. Stated I had bones of a 90 year old women. Went for 5 years thinking I was doomed. Found out through another Ortho that he messed up. My bones are not even close to being bad. I have tried for years to get those xrays and they never send them. Guess they know they screwed up.

I met with Dr Baumgarten and was immediately impressed by his casual conversation regarding my issue. He was very interested with my concerns and explained in detail what needed to be done to solve my problem with my foot. I did get a first option which I was not impressed at all with another Dr . I'm having outpatient surgery on Dec 1st with Dr Baumgarten... very confident with him and looking forward to correcting my problems and no pain!

Dr Baumgarten is a doctor who will actually sit down and discuss your issue, give you options so you have some control in how to deal with your problem and still will give a recommendation that I have always trusted to be what is best.

Dr. Baumgarten is a great surgeon, very professional and polite. What I like about him is that he will tell you straight forward what you need without having you comeback several times. I had knee surgery six weeks ago and the healing process is doing excellent.

10 years ago, he put screws in my left foot, last February he operated on my right foot. Today I went for my last visit, everything good .walk normal again. I am very thankful!! 🧡
