Elizabeth J. Ancheta's Online Review Report Card

She is excellent, my kids love her! Dr. Ancheta takes her time and answers all of our questions in a clear and empathetic manner.

This review is long overdue.  Last week we saw Dr. Ancheta for our youngest daughter's check up and it was so great to see her!  My experiences with Dr. Ancheta have always been wonderful.  She has been our pediatrician for 8 years and we look forward to seeing her for every check up.  I found her when I was pregnant with my son.  She came highly recommended on several mommy groups.  She has seen all 3 of our children since birth.  She knows them so well and it's awesome that she remembers little things about each of them, like their favorite sports or the things they used to do when they were babies.  She has been so helpful, especially with our kids' asthma and allergies.   We've had some scary situations, to say the least.  We never feel rushed and she never makes me feel lame even when I come in with a long list of questions. Dr. Ancheta really connects with our kids, and always calls or messages me to follow up on labs or just to see how my kids are doing after being really sick.   I trust her medical judgement without a doubt.  She is straightforward but caring.  Over the years, I've referred literally dozens of friends to her and they have all been happy.  The only minor downside is that she only works part time, but she's a mom too, so I get totally get it.   I appreciate that she always makes an effort to squeeze me in when she is there.  She will even call me or email me on her day off, which is awesome.  For open enrollment, it would have been way cheaper to switch to Kaiser.  I specifically told my husband that it was worth the extra moolah to make sure we could keep Dr. Ancheta. She is the best pediatrician around!

Extremely rude and demeaning. Rushed. Doesn't explain things. Won't choose her again. I went to her because nobody else was available. Same day appointment. Looks like nobody wants to see her that's why. I won't see her again for sure. Wasted $$$. Didn't get anything out of the visit with her. Nurse was pretty rude as well. Never met any such nurse before. I guess the Doctor's behavior is flowing down to her staff.
