He's a good Doctor, He listens and answers if you have any questions. The only thing i didnt like was the wait time, they get busy.
Took good care of me
Three years and I an only say that without his expertise I'd be crippled. If you have a problem DR Stuffmann is the top guy.
I am not happy with his front desk reception. She schedule me for an appointment after my 1st post-op visit and apparently input in the wrong date on her computer. When I showed up for my appt, she insist on rescheduling me. She insist on I wasn't schedule for that week. I am sure I was scheduled for that week because I was leaving for vacation that Friday and wanted to make sure I see the dr. Before I go. This appt was for my 2nd post-op and its was scheduled for 3 week after my 1st post-op. My wrist is hurting and the receptionist told me she'll have to reschedule me. I had to take time off from work for these dr. appts. I wouldn't make up a date, the was given by their office. Why wouldn't she owe up to its her mistake? Front desk problem aside, Dr. Stuffman is a very doctor.
My experience with Dr. Eric Stuffmann was stellar. He ran down my case verbally with me instantly and I was immediately pleased. I expected to get the blank look. He went over my x-rays and MRI with me and gave me an unhurried and thorough exam. He dictated notes into a Alexa-like device and then answered my 58 questions in great detail often referring back to the x-ray or MRI. I was there for a second opinion and didn't feel he was looking for "more work" from me nor did I feel he was agreeing with the first opinion out of rote. He was the pinnacle of professionalism and obviously extremely skilled. If you read his bio for his education and training, it's impressive and tailor made for my specific injury. All in all, this was the most positive experience I've had with a physician in decades. I reserve the right to come back and edit this review if I get charged for anything that I'm not expecting but short of that, I can't recommend Dr. Stuffmann highly enough. If there was an option for more than 5 stars, I'd easily do that.
As a doctor myself, I can be picky with the doctors providing my care. Especially when it comes to possible career altering procedures. I could not have found a better surgeon, or individual, than Dr. Stuffmann. As others have noted, he listens to you, and his training and ethics have taught him to never lose sight of the big picture. This wonderful trait may cause him to run behind, as it does me. But the wait is well worth it! In medicine we can do everything right and still have a bad outcome, but diagnostic and hand skills can tilt this in your favor. Dr. Stuffmann possesses both of these qualities. In my case I had just the opposite result and feel it is the result of Dr Stuffmann’s skill and knowledge. He performed a nerve moving procedure on the ulnar nerve in my right elbow to eliminate pain and numbness in my hand; critical to my profession. I sit here one day post-op with minimal discomfort (OTC Ibuprofen handles it nicely), and 90% of my numb hand is back to normal.

Even though he predicted a two week recovery, I'm headed to my office on Monday, three days post-op. Thank you Dr. Stuffmann
Dr Stuffmann is Five Star , he has done an awesome job on my right lower leg (tibia) . My wounds are healed and my bone is recovering at an awesome pace ....I am grateful that Dr Stuffmann was the surgeon to operate on me and I am happy that my injury is healing correctly .... Thank You Dr Stuffmann
Dr Stuffman is a great doctor. He performed surgery on my husbands dominate hand, and even diDC a video of what he did. He is extremely good at what he does. Professional and tells you what needs to happen in a way that helps you to understand everything he does. Every doctor we have seen at Webster Ortho has been steps above any other doctor I've seen. I have nothing but very high praise for them.
Not only is Dr Stuffmann the only orthopedic surgeon (and I've seen many) that has been able to remove the pain from my shoulder, but he has also helped the rest of my family who are every active. Whether it's myself, my wife (with her horse riding related injurires) or my kids (skiing etc) he treats each the same and is very dedicated in thoroughly assessing each situation. What I personally really like about Dr Stuffmann is that surgery is the last option and he actively explores all other possible remedies.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
