List of Hope Hospice's Reviews
Hope Hospice gave outstanding care to a very special person in my life. They were also caring and understanding to Micheal's wife...they were wonderful helping my sister get through the roughest time of her life and supportive to me also. Thank Hope Hospice.
Hands down the best Hospice providers in the Bay Area! It doesn't matter if it's a weekend or evening...I can easily reach Michelle, Delinda, or Carlos with one text! Within minutes, they're able to dispatch a team of Angels! Thank you for being available and responsive when our clients are going through some very challenging times. Your team shows up with grace and compassion every time. Creating New Hope - Senior Living Advisors appreciates you!
I am forever grateful to this organization. This team cared for my dad until the end. They were patient, kind, professional and caring at all times. Not only did they care for dad, but they have and continue to follow up and check in on myself and our family members while processing this tremendous loss. thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Hope hospice took care of my aunt at the end of her life. The nurses Emily and Karen were great. They enrolled her very quickly and the equipment was promptly delivered. They were very supportive and kind. A very well run organization. A lot of support for both the patient and family. I would use them again if the unfortunate need arose. I highly recommend Hope Hospice
We used this hospice service after getting lots of recommendations for it. Our experience with Hope Hospice was very good. It was fully covered under my family member's Medicare plan. I recommend to keep your family member at home rather than a nursing home if you can. They have a 24 hour phone line and someone picks up within 30 seconds to get a nurse to you within an hour. As often as you may need visits. If you feel like you need the nurse more often, just request it. They seemed to allow whatever requests we needed. We had our family member at home having other family members be there at all times doing care. The nurses gave advice, tips, and showed up to do bed baths and administer trickier medications. They were very nice and knowledgeable, always showing up on time. Remember, you still may have to advocate for what your family member would have wanted but maybe can no longer verbalize. If you want to keep them on certain medications, just ask. If you think you need to increase the dose, just ask. If you need more frequent visits, just ask. They were accomodating for our family member.
I had used hospice for my dad and it was horrid..a different county. I have nothing but good things to say about the care my mom received. The admission was picture perfect, durable medical equipment was delivered within 2 hours. she went picked up the meds and was back within an hour. ( sorry cant remember name) Karen was her RN. Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, caring and honest. She is a Rockstar! Sara was the CNA. Again fantastic. Caring. gentle and professional. Thank you all for the fantastic care. If you need Hospice this is the place to use.
This is a review for the grief support team- After I lost my father I tried to find a "good" therapist or support within kaiser with no luck at all. A family friend suggested hope hospice. From the moment I called I was treated so wonderfully. Arlene the grief group administrator was such a calming presence in a very terrible time. She was so gracious and I really felt like she listened and truly cares about people. I joined the group and it was something I didn't think I would benefit from at first, but as the weeks went on it did help me feel less alone. I can't say enough about the people at hope hospice and for Arlene. It is difficult to find genuinely kind hearted people who take the time to help you and walk you through hard times. Arlene and her team are those people. Absolutely amazing, really helped me at a time I needed support. Thank you!!!

I can't say enough about the team from Hope Hospice who swooped in to help support us in the final weeks of life of our loved one. These are anxious, physically and emotionally challenging times, and the care, extra effort, and hands-on and on-call attention we received was an unexpected Godsend that I didn't realize we might benefit from...until one-by-one, an army of angles showed up at our door or called to offer assistance, guidance, care and presence. You know what it was? Every single one of them acted like these lives had value, that the lives they were attending mattered...and they were going to help us navigate as good a death as possible. And they did. That was a gift. And I know I speak for the Family, as their longtime caregiver and advocate, when I say how grateful we are.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
