Sutter Pediatric Urgent Care- Dublin's Online Review Report Card

Rude receptionist.

We've been here on multiple occassions for two kids worth of ear infections and bad coughs. Every time, the staff are super helpful, the appointments start promptly when they were scheduled to, and the doctors arrive promptly. Dr. Theodore Chou is excellent with my kids, as are the other doctor's here. IF they have appointment availability, easily found on the MyHealthOnline app, it's very easy to book your appointment for that day. However, oftentimes they book up and only book out for THAT day, or the next day if it's after closing. This process has gotten much better now since COVID, though during very busy times, the app would direct me as far as Fremont or Palo Alto for care. I also ended up here because although several times I would book the nearby Sutter Health Walk-In care (which is NOT currently Walk-in, in spite of the name), I would receive a call two hours before my appointment that they don't see children for this problem. So save yourself time and trouble, and book here at Dublin Pediatric Urgent Care - they are great.

Please don’t go here. We came with our daughter at 7:25pm with ear pain , their closing time is 8 pm, they didn’t see my daughter saying doctors can’t see them. Then why they opened till 8? They can’t even check the ear infection for kid? How much time it take? Either it is bad receptionist or bad doctors. I don’t know what the reason they rejected us. All I can say They don’t deserve to open urgent care specifically for children. Also consider my review as zero star. I know nothing will change. They will be same like this. Only parents like us will suffer. They will run around with their sick babies. Glad we got checked by Stanford urgent care next door Be empathetic towards sick children, same things may happen with ur family too.

I came to urgent care at 7:50am to find out exactly when I can bring my 4 years old so that we don’t have to wait outside for too long. Got told that I need to bring the sick kid for walking so I went back to bring him over only to find out we can only be seen at 9:45. We ended up waiting in hallway for one hour. The staff were nice but the appointment system is really screwed up. This is probably our last visit since we’ll be switching to Kaiser next year

Truly thankful for each and every pediatrician here, my girls have been seen here multiple times and each time they are treated with great care, from coming in with covid, flu & even a glass stuck in a toe Dr. Dhamsania comforted my daughter and she never even realized when he took that tiny glass out.. Dr. Vanessa wong, took such good care of one of my daughters who was having severe asthma, love that she also did an x-ray right away to rule out pneumonia knowing it was most likely her asthma just acting up, gave us a great 2 week treatment and it helped my daughter so much! they do have availability for appointments that you can schedule online if you dont like waiting, sometimes i notice there wait time might seem long but they really do try there very best to see you before the actual "wait time". i appreciate the after hours and how they open on holidays to avoid going into the ER. Very sweet staff, clean facility!

I wish I can give zero stars. Checked in with a sick daughter at 8:30 AM, was told its a 30 minute wait time and was asked to wait in the atrium (much cooler than the room temperature with constant foot traffic). Several other people ‘with appointments’ were called in who checked in after us, so, checked the status after 60 minutes, said we were next in line, for next 30 minutes, two others were called in and we were not one of them. So, if your kid is sick, you need to wait in the cooler temperature until, god knows when, you are called up on? If this is the definition of an urgent care, I would rather not use it. I would assume it’s common sense to at least have people wait in the rooms rather than at the exit doors and provide at least a proper estimate of how long the wait time is. We canceled our check-in and walked out, never stepping in again. I see a review 7 months ago on the same lines and hoped things would have changed, I only think they got worse. Better look somewhere else.

Can you believe that their wait time is 5 hours? This is unheard of! By the time we get called in, the clinic will close. This is the only pediatric clinic in the area, so sad.

I brought my daughter at 2:30pm when wait time was shown as 30-45 mins. The receptionist checked us in but I notice some other folks who checked in later than us were allowed to go in before us. Upon asking why, the receptionist said they had appointment. I asked her if there are any more appointments that will be entertained before us and she said no we are next in the line. But again it was a lie and other parties came in who were given the preference under the name of appointment. Please stop calling this as urgent care or at least tell that there are x number of appointments in between so the person knows how much their kids have to wait.

At 11:30 am maxed out for the day with patients?!

You walk in at 7.30 pm with your 1-year old with high fever -103.1 to be specific- and the doctor says they’ve had enough patients today so won’t see you. The front desk staff’s impolite attitude and mumbling is just the cherry on the top. Try to have a backup plan for your sick children if you want to access treatment
