Thomas Peatman's Online Review Report Card

I wish I could give Dr Peatman and his staff 6 stars. I've had an ongoing difficult issue with my hip and knee and have been to a lot of doctors. Dr Peatman was the first doctor that actually listened to me and the first to actually try to figure out what was wrong, rather than giving up or saying there's nothing wrong with me. He always treated me with kindness and compassion and it made all the difference. His PA Brian, the imaging staff, and the front desk staff are all so kind and friendly as well. My only complaint is that it can be a long wait to speak to someone and can be difficult to get someone to call you back about issues, but they are such a busy office that it makes sense.

The dr. wanted to send me home 3 days after knee replacement surgery. I was nauseous, weak and needed assistance getting up. I told the nursing staff and the head nurse suggested I should stay in hospital for at least a week and see how I was after that. The dr. maintained I was "fine" to go home in 3 days. I had no family to care for me in the area and my friend could only help on the weekend, so she asked the dr. if they could keep me in the hospital or transfer me to a recovery facility, until I was strong enough to go to the bathroom without possibly falling. The dr. refused. My daughter had to call and speak with his staff about it. The dr. lied, claiming, "your mother didn't inform us she was dizzy and nauseous", when every time I got up, a nurse had to help me, because I was dizzy and nauseous and weak! They didn't do a proper intake, but blamed my daughter for not being there. If my daughter hadn't intervened, I would've been screwed.

Dr. Peatman was very kind and knowledgeable. I have been having trouble with my left hip for about seven years.. not to the severity that it is now. I had relief with the cortisone shot right away. Yesterday I went zooming around the island in my kitchen and I overdid it. I had to take it easy the rest of the day. I don’t hurt today so I learned my lesson to walk moderately. Dr. Peatman reassured me that if I lose some weight everything will be ok and I can have hip replacement surgery.

Outstanding! Dr. Peatman always makes you feel like you are his only patient. He takes time with you and is always worried about how you feel and how he can help. He is the best!

Dr peatman is the best, did my hip replacement last year omg what a difference, I just had my keen replacement still rehabbing but none of the old pain just the surgery pain it's only been 7/8 weeks but coming along great..I highly recommend dr peatman he is caring and he will help you get back on your feet....
