Be very careful about how this facility bills your insurance. While the facility itself may be in-network, the providers are almost always out-of-network, which can cost you a significant amount out of pocket. This is not clearly disclosed or explained before your visit; you only find out when you receive the bill. In my case, one of the bills didn’t arrive for nearly a year, and it was sent directly to a debt collector without me ever receiving the original bill. On a separate visit, I wasn’t even diagnosed with anything; I was sent home after a quick five-minute evaluation because my condition wasn’t severe. Despite that, I was charged over $500 for the visit. Altogether, I’ve spent over $1,000 at this facility solely because the provider was out-of-network, even though the urgent care itself was in-network. This billing practice feels extremely misleading and unfair. Please be aware of this before deciding to come here otherwise, you may be in for an unpleasant financial surprise months later.

Beware of predatory billing at this location!!!This facility operates under a 'bait and switch' model: they are an Urgent Care but bill you as an ER. Another issue is that they may list the facility as 'in-network,' but the doctors themselves are 'out-of-network.' These loopholes will leave you with a massive bill that they aggressively sends to a debt collector. Do not trust them with your insurance information without verifying exactly how you will be billed which is impossible. Do not go. Stanford healthcare is usually pretty good but NOT this one. Someone should look into these unlawful practices.

Be cautious when visiting this Urgent Care facility. They require you to sign a form stating that there will be two separate charges: one for the urgent care facility and another for the provider. Unfortunately, the provider may not be in-network, so it’s crucial to choose your provider carefully, as you won’t have the option to change them in case of an urgent situation.

Unfortunately the state of care in the US puts the onus on individuals to check if providers are in-network. The physician group practicing at this facility are not part of Stanford Health system and many are likely getting out-of-network bills. Check your coverage before going; I was caught with a surprise bill like other commenters. The care I received was stellar on the plus side.

Review for Stanford Urgent Care - Front Desk Staff (Skyler) I visited Stanford Urgent Care recently, and unfortunately had a disappointing interaction with the front desk staff member named Skyler. While my 2-year-old who was sick, was quietly playing with the blinds, Skyler spoke to him very rudely, saying "Don't touch, this is not your home." As a parent, I understand the need to maintain clinic property, but there is a respectful and gentle way to speak to young children -- especially in a healthcare setting where families are already under stress. His tone and choice of words were unprofessional and completely unnecessary. I hope the clinic addresses this, as families should feel supported and spoken to with kindness. The medical team has always been great, but interactions like this at the front desk leave a lasting negative impression.

This used to be our go to place for urgent care and the customer care was excellent. I feel sorry that this is all Dublin has to offer. Now it's just nursers who lack courtesy and good bedside manners. I felt terrible after putting in a positive review using their QR Code for their nurse who was all sweet with us in the beginning and then she just disappeared. We waited and waited for about an hour, left in room, with order for the X-ray she recommended and said would happen in 10 minutes--she said they were pretty free and will call us soon. An hour and ten minutes later the careless nurse showed up in our room saying "oops" she did not add the information correctly in the computer and now they are busy so we would need to wait a little longer. She never apologized and when I stepped outside the room looking for help because my sugar was running low, she tried to yell at me and summon me inside. Fortunately, I found a male nurse/doctor (you can't tell) at the station, who gave some juice/candy. These people should be ashamed of using the Valley Care name.

Beware! Urgent care visits billed as emergency care! Avoid if possible! I paid 600$ and above.

I went to this urgent care to get checked for severe arm pain. The doctor spent barely five minutes with me — pressed a few spots, said he didn’t think anything was broken, and decided no imaging was necessary, even though I specifically requested it. I was sent home with a prescription of OTC painkillers, which did nothing to help. The pain became so severe that I couldn’t sleep at all and later developed a high fever. Eventually, I managed to get an X-ray after contacting my primary physician, which revealed calcific tendonitis with very visible calcium buildup. A quick X-ray at the urgent care would have easily shown this, but instead, the doctor dismissed my symptoms and ignored my concerns. To make matters worse, about ten days later I received a $760 bill for that five-minute visit — and was shocked to learn that the doctor I saw was out of network, even though the urgent care facility itself was supposedly covered under my insurance. No one informed me of this at the time of the visit. Very disappointing and unprofessional experience, both medically and administratively. Never again.
