List of Eric C Bekemeier's Reviews
This review is for Eric C. Bekemeier "D.O." is a fucking idiot. My wife came in for evaluation of hearing loss and specifically requested an ENT referral because we suspected earwax buildup. The GP told her verbatim: "the buildup of earwax couldn't cause hearing loss." That statement is medically incorrect. Earwax blockage (cerumen impaction) is a well-documented cause of conductive hearing loss, and removing the blockage can restore hearing. Mayo Clinic lists hearing loss as a symptom of earwax blockage and also lists earwax buildup as a cause of hearing loss. Cleveland Clinic likewise lists hearing loss as a possible result of cerumen impaction. The American Academy of Otolaryngology (ENT physicians) patient guidance also lists decreased hearing as a symptom when wax is blocking the ear. Beyond wax, hearing loss has several common causes that any GP should take seriously, including ear infection/fluid, noise exposure, and age-related hearing loss, among others. nhs.uk And if hearing loss is sudden, that can be a medical emergency that needs prompt evaluation, not dismissal. I'm leaving this review because patient safety matters. Please stop delivering blatantly statements that are contradicted by basic clinical guidance, and please treat hearing loss complaints with appropriate exam, documentation, and referral when indicated.
Best GP in Orange County Bedside manner and is knowledgeable in every regard. Would strongly recommend!!

Even though Dr. B is not my regular PC doctor (mine was booked up) he treated me like he was. He was calm, kind, funny, very respectful and to the point. Appreciate him and all the doctors atMemorial care.
How professional he is, plus to the point, And friendly.
Excellent overall experience Never before has going to the doctor been such a good experience. Dr Bekemeier has a gift not only as a diagnostician but a natural and humorous teacher as well as genuinely compassionate. I love the nurses too!
I have seen Dr. Beckemeyer four times now. He reviewed my background, medication's and tests thoroughly, and advised me based on current science and his experience that includes a lifelong passion for medicine. I appreciate and am grateful for his comprehensive judgment, caring and entertaining explanations of the body. Perhaps in the future, say 100 years from now, science will reveal more. In the meanwhile, I have a better understanding of how to improve my overall health. I can't ask for more!
Very strongly Very friendly and straightforward
Emergency Meeting bc my PCP was OOO The conversation, the advice, the logistics. All 10 out of 10.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
