List of Rami Dimitri's Reviews
Dimtri and his team are the most dishonest "medical professionals" I have ever come across. To me, they did the following: 1. Alter X-rays to make it appear as though my tooth was cracked when it wasn't; 2. Charging me for "emergency" services and "specialists" when none existed or was required; 3. Change their pricing and recommendations to take full advantage of what my insurance would pay for; 4. Work as a team to perpetuate this fraud; 5. Make my experience unnecessarily painful and drawn out; 6. Had me sign documents on their digital pad without showing me what I was signing or providing copies; and the list goes on. In short, Dimtri and his cronies are SHAMELSS CON ARTISTS AND FRAUDSTERS.

Dr. Dimitry is very knowledgeable he explained all the stuff I need flawlessly. I walked out of the office with important information and I will never ignore my oral health again. I have appointments coming up for my treatment. I feel confident this is the place for me. I will write a 2nd review after my next visit. The cherry on top was the insurance lady talking to me about ME not just teeth or money. She made me feel like I was her best friend. They also support the local High School!
Here's an update on my previous review. A week after my appointment for the veneer I received a call from Dr. Dimitri letting me know he made a few calls to the lab that their office uses and explained the situation to them. After talking with them, he was able to get the lab to extend the date for the veneer warranty. I was so pleased that he went the extra mile for me. I was able to get my veneer fixed for free under the 5 year warranty. Thank you Dr. Dimitri for treating your patients like family and going the extra mile for them.
I really like this dental office and the staff but can't help but feel I was slighted by the doctor who saw me. I had veneers put on in march of 2009. The veneers come with a 5 year warranty. In January of this year one of the veneers chipped. I made an appointment to get it looked at. The office called the day before my appointment to let me know the doctor requested I change my appointment for the following week. I agreed to do so because I was willing to accommodate the busy doctors schedule. The next week I go in for my appointment and after the doctor looks at my tooth and chart tells me I missed the warranty date to fix my veneer by two days. I explained to him I accommodated his schedule And moved my appointment at his request and he still refused to honor the warranty. He did offer to fix the veneer for $250 but refused to honor the free warranty. I don't know if he was having a bad day or what. But I was thoroughly disappointed with this situation. And what kind of company starts a warranty one month before the veneer is actually put on a patients tooth. They go by the date the doctor orders the veneer. Really?!!!!!
I first went to Gateway Dental, where Dr. Dimitri is a co-owner, in Sep 2012. I wanted to find a dentist close to home and a friend I know goes there. First the positive, equipment seems to be very up to date and office is technologically advanced. Now the negatives. Up until this time, had very few dental issues, the occasional cavity and a little gum recession according to past dentists. Then came, Dr. Dimitri and I was told that I had a couple of cavities (which I expected) and one that required a crown (my first ever, which I didn't expect). Not only that, but that I NEEDED a gum procedure (not covered by insurance) in order to put the crown on, which ended up costing something like $800 out of pocket. After the crown was put on, I had to go back as it was too high and had to be filed down. I was also told I had periodontal disease and he compared it to diabetes in that now that I have it, cannot be cured, only controlled. He then said because of that, I had to have some laser treatment that cost so much, even with my Delta Dental insurance, that I had to move into the next calendar year. I had that done in February 2013.In the 6 months I had Dr. Dimitri as my dentist, I spent more money than I have ever spent on dental work in my entire life. Furthermore, I found Dr. Dimitri's communication to be scripted....from the "diabetes" to the "gum work required", it felt practiced and memorized.Today I went to Healthy Smiles Family and Cosmetic Dentistry to try a new dentist based on reviews here on Yelp. I only researched because I had broken off part of my last tooth lower left jaw. That tooth by the way, had a cavity filled by Dr. Dimitri. As a new patient, of course had cleaning, x-rays and gums checked (you know, where the dentist calls out numbers to indicate recession (5 being worst), When Dr. Dimitri did this, I recall hearing a lot of 4 and 5s. With this new dentist (who by the way, in an EASTVALE RESIDENT), I heard all 2s and 3s. And the broken tooth, which I was expecting to have to need a crown, can be fixed with some bonding. When I expressed my surprise that no crown was needed, the dentist said, "No, I think that would be overkill". I wonder what Dr Dimitri would have said.
Dr. Dimitri is the best. He has always treated me and my family like members of his own family. Going to him has taken the fear out of going to the dentist. I have never been pressured into any procedure or feel like I am being price gouged. The staff is great too. We love gateway dental, dr. Dimitri and staff and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else.
I absolutely love gateway dental!! From Dr. Dimitri, to Angela, to Nick, to all the staff. They always make me feel welcome and comfortable. Thank you guys.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
