Anita Pinto's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Pinto is the best doctor. All 3 of my kids have been with her for 13 years. She is patient, kind and all around amazing. I would recommend her for your kids as she will have the best care for them.

We love Dr. Pinto she is very kind and always takes time to explain and talk to us never pushes us out the door. She always talks to my kids about healthy eating . Vaccines definitely out way the risk of disease in our warm climate. Your children might be protected because they're covered by herd protection but you should definitely look at pictures of the diseases the vaccines are protecting you against. Also I would rethink your decision because San Diego is filled with immigrant's and tourists or traveling. Anyone who doesn't vaccinate is putting the safty of the public and their child at risk. Most people don't pray to God until it too late please rethink your decision's and your child's future.

Wonderful caring doctor. Our daughter (16 years old) has been with Dr Pinto for 14 years. We have never had any problems with Dr Pinto or her office and can always get a last minute appointment when needed. The other doctors in the office also provide great care.

Very polite and knowledgeable doctor who really loves kids and eases their fears. Visits never feel rushed and she takes her time to put you and your children at ease!

She is amazing all ways helpful and she always makes my little girls so comfortable, very kind and nurturing personality, she does what is best for the child and always takes her time with you. she does not treat you or your children like.a number. :)

Dr. Pinto is great, she is knowledgeable, nice, caring, and really listens. Answers all questions thoroughly. Staff is also great, apptointments are easy to make and wait time is minimal. This is a great place to take your children to, ask to see Dr. Pinto.

When we moved to San Diego in 2007 we moved to Pacific Beach and went to a different Pediatrician. When we moved to Lakeside in 2008 we started taking our daughter to see Anita Pinto at The Children's Primary Care Medical Group. I didn't have many issues with them until now, summer of 2010.I made an appointment the first week in August and scheduled a physical for my daughter for back to school September 3rd. When I didn't receive the typical phone call a few days prior to confirm the appointment, I called them early morning on September 3rd to confirm the time. The woman I spoke with proceeded to tell me that she had no appointment for my daughter scheduled that day. As any parent can imagine, I was furious. Since it is virtually impossible to get a physical appointment so last minute approaching back to school. She pulled some strings and managed to fit us in and all was well until...We told them that we were choosing to not vaccinate our daughter, for personal beliefs. The woman on the phone then proceeded to tell us that if we were choosing not to vaccinate that their facility would not see our daughter. Even though Anita Pinto had been her primary for over a year. To make matters worse, she hung up on us!Some say that if a patient doesn't agree with the course of treatment the doctor suggests than it is in the best interest of both parties to go separate ways. However, I believe this is discrimination at it's finest. Since injecting my daughter with mercury and other harmful toxins does not in anyway hinder their ability to conduct a simple physical examination.DON'T TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THE CHILDREN'S PRIMARY CARE MEDICAL GROUP IN EL CAJON ON 860 JAMACHA ROAD. It isn't about vaccinations. IT'S ABOUT RESPECT. And having respect for the families they serve AND their religious and personal views.

After our daughter was born, we had been given Dr Pinto's name and info by the hospital as our child's pediatrician. I felt she was a nice doctor based on the ONE time we actually saw her. Every time we called in for information and/or made an appt we had to see the other doctor in the office- another woman with a long and foreign name who was VERY condescending and mean, unprofessional and made me feel, as a new mother, that I was bound to fail. I guess my questions seemed too elementary for her. We stopped going to Dr Pinto because we inevitably ended up dealing with the other doctor instead.
