Been waiting over 3 months for my appointment. They already canceled it once before. Just to get another call that it needs to be rescheduled again. Almost having to wait nearly 5 months to see him with a referral!

The people in the front office are very disrespectful, very aggressive attitude, they put me on hold for 11 minutes. It looks like they enjoy making you wait in the office and also on the phone when you call

Office staff were a total turn off to making a prospective patient feel welcome. I hope this message reaches the Dr who should provide some serious customer service training. I called throughout the day, no answer, no ability to leave a message and while I’m there both receptionists seemed occupied in conversations.

First of all P.A. Sonia Vazquez is neglectful and doesn't care about the health of her patients. My mother ran out of her prescription so she called Sonia Vazquez' office for a refill of her prescription on August 31. It is now September 8 and Sonia Vazquez has yet to reply to her nurse's request to approve the refill. I called the pharmacy and countless times they've faxed the request to Sonia Vasquez office for approval of the refill. Nine days afterwards and Sonia Vazquez has yet to make the time to approve the refill. How inconsiderate of her and neglectful of her patient's needs. I suppose Sonia Vazquez is just hoping the patient will die first without her medicine that way she won't have to work on approving any refills. How a lousy caregiver. Sonia, I hope you are reading this post. Patients matter and we are observant of your neglectful ways. Listen up.Also, don't even dare call their answering service after-hours. The woman who answers the calls after-hours will immediately hang up on you if you dare to ask a second question. Note to the doctor's office manager: Talk with your answering service after hours and speak to the woman who takes the calls. She was rude, impatient and even though I had other questions she assumed I was done and immediately hung up on me. She needs training on customer service. Answering service needs to know that she represents your doctor's office and her rude behavior puts a bad image in your office.

My referral was sent 5 times which they managed to lose 4 of. Then they refused to schedule an appointment for a procedure on the referral and insurance authorization because they didnt like the diagnosis without ever speaking to me or the referring physician. To top it off the receptionist is overly rude.

The only reason I am giving 3 stars is because of the P.A, Sonia. She is very detailed. I’ve never actually met the Dr. He was present for my colonoscopy but did not introduce himself or speak. For all I know it could have been the janitor doing my colonoscopy. The wait time is ridiculous. I waited an hour and 20 mins when there was only one other patient in the waiting room. When I was finally granted access to the 2nd door to my 2nd waiting room to wait, I complained to the tech. She said her computer only shows I have been waiting 25 mins. I informed her I have been sitting in the waiting room since 09:40am and the 25mins wait time is not correct that she has on her computer. I am not happy. No wonder they do not want you to put the time you got there on the sign in sheet.

Friendly staff, very professional and best of all no pain and no complications. Very highly recommended.

You wait forever for the procedure and the follow up office visit. The office staff is awful and do not bill insurance properly. You will be charged even if the office visit is considered preventive care just so they can get more money out of the patient. Dr El-Newihi himself is rude and does not listen to his patients. He rushes you out before addressing any of your questions. Avoid this doctor and the entire practice. After waiting 1 hour to be seen he walked out after 2 minutes.

Dr. El Newihi is a highly experienced, patient and thorough doctor. He studied my past medical reports and I was actually surprised because none of the other doctors I go to have done that. This doctor made me feel comfortable since the first appointment and the colonoscopy was not as uncomfortable as I had expected. I highly recommend him.

I went in for a preventive care colonoscopy. Preventive care is covered by insurance at 100% so I knew it would be fully covered. After the procedure, the doctor told me everything was fine, no problems, just come back in three months for follow up. I assumed that would still be considered part of the preventive care. I was wrong. Their office knowingly bills insurance using a code that is considered a separate office visit, (as if I just showed up for a new procedure.) They did not bother to tell me I would be responsible for the bill, even they admitted they knew I would be. Worse yet, I did not need to go in at all. I waited over an hour to be seen by the doctor who told me, "Everything is fine. See you in five years." I was out in less than two minutes and received a bill for $175. This did not require an office visit. If they hadn't been charging me for a completely unnecessary visit, they would have been charging my insurance. This doctor is gouging the system. Practices like this contribute to the ridiculously expensive healthcare system in the United States. Shame on Dr. El-Newihi and his office staff. If I had known that they would be billing it as separate from the preventative care procedure I received, I certainly would never have come in. He had already told me I was fine. I feel cheated and I am incredibly disappointed. I will definitely tell everyone I know about his billing.
